It shouldn't. Back when I had problems I uninstalled the software and I didn't need to reinstall the drivers.
I'm in love with the way Yihi does set resistance and room temp; that they stay, don't "refine" and are editable.
If this ever changes to be auto-refining like Evolv and joyetech, without the manual option, I'll be very sad and won't be able to upgrade no matter how tempting the new firmware features would be.

I don't think you have anything to worry about. The way it locks resistance/ambient temp is paramount to how the board operates.
#5 (hold fire for three seconds when in menu to exit) is worth the price of admission. Such a great usability enhancement. The best part is how it remembers where you last were (e.g., temperature adjustment).

I don't know how I ended up with the modders software but can't seem to get rid of it either. I had to keep file manager open so I could get to the 2203 file.

Bah, I'm an idiot. Of course you're right ... no thermocoupler on the board! (that we know of)
Hey did the guy that upgraded with his tank on ever get his ML working again.
It does monitor board temp, but presuming the board and ambient temps are the same is not good for tc
I think I will get a black sleeve, I don't care for the red and not sure about the orange and not going to pay $15 extra to get one from the Netherlands. Just pay $7.50 from Perry at varitube. The brown does look nice though. I'm tempted to get a white ML from him too so I would have 3 LE 2M's and an ML but think I'll save my money for a Q.
I have the Yihi original on my M class and like it but I also like having the buttons raised as it makes hitting them a bit easier. But I do think it looks classier with the Yihi original.
I agree the generic sleeves do make the buttons easier to push.
