I live in New York and have yet to see one person vaping(not one) I always thought that New York would be at the forefront of new ideas and technology, boy was I wrong!!!!!

Not only is New York late to the party...they do not even know the address...lol

To give people an idea of just how late...I ran out of juice and I remembered someone telling me there was a kiosk at the mall that was selling e-cigs. I get on 2 buses to get there, I find the place and ask the girl where is the juice? She replied "WHAT'S THAT" enough said

Where are you Frank? I may be able to hook you up with some 12mg Prime15 from Halo. It's just not my thing, but it's good quality.

Could meet you in manhattan tomorrow (its at home but I could bring it tomm).

Also, you could check out the New York forum here on ECF, but it's pretty dead in there too. There are meetups from time to time, I have not yet attended but would if one pops up that I can make.

Also, theres a shop on 39th and 2nd ave in manhattan that sells some kits. They seem like 808 compatible, 1 battery, usb charger, 2 cartos for like 17 bucks.

The one I'm speaking about in particular is EonSmoke (the disposable brand, not the shop).

Also, most walgreens sell 24mg blu disposables. Was not my thing but it may do in a pinch - anything to keep you from going backwards.

I think part of the problem is that in the cities, rents are extremely high.

I do see a business opportunity, however you would need to sell A LOT to make rent. On top of that, if any federal regulations or taxes get passed on the e-cig market, it would kill the business outright.

How many tobacco/pipe shops are there in NYC? Why they haven't gotten into e-cigs as well I'll never know. Seems like it would be a natural.

I would open up a brick and mortar shop if I had the cash, but I do not. Also, the risk would be too high because we all know that uncle sammy is going to step in at some point and try to put an end to e-cigs. Not because they care...Big Tobacco and big drugs are going to start telling the puppets in Washington they want it stopped and sadly, they probably will. I know that is a sad statement but it's true...I really like vaping!!!!!!!!! IT'S INTERESTING AND FUN. And lastly to the job situation in NEW YORK...WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH THIS DISCUSSION!

Big Tobacco is not the problem and could care less. They know their business is slowly dieing, at least in the US. Big Pharm is the big elephant in the room that is and has been pushing for vaping to be banned and is putting the money behind the effort. Why do you think Senator Lautenberg came out early and strongly for the banning of PV's? His largest campaign contributor is Big Pharm.

I agree with you, Big Tobacco is gonna jump on the band wagon not try to ban it. Just think, a real Marlboro juice. Think of the money. They where in Las Vegas for the convention. They make the tobacco, where does nic come from? They are set, the Big Pharm company's are the ones that want it stopped. Nice call wv2win
