I see what you mean now. From what I can gather the plans for atomisers were originally for higher spec devices than were finally made. They may have had to save development costs or cost of materials or maybe the original plan didn't work, I don't know. What we've ended up with isn't very satisfactory though so hopefully somebody is working on improvements.

ahh i see, i had high hopes for a minute there
