Hi there and welcome to the forums. Great to see you are prepared to give it a go. As long as you have an open mind, don't mind a bit of research and some experimentation you will find a setup thats no more hassle than analogues and gives you a great experience. I'm no sigmund freud but the habit part of your smoking is linked to nicotine addiction. Your brain will associate all those things you do with the feeling it gets from nicotine. Breaking your regular habits and filling the time you would spend smoking with something completely different often helps. If you see vaping as a means to an end to give up then you can also keep lowering the nicotine levels in your juice. Of course everyone is different. However you plan to get away from analogues I wish you every success.
Thanks for the thoughts/comments...its all I can do is try eh...and I was thinking the same about lowering the nicotine level...I just dont want to do the patch or anything similar...so this seemed like a much better way to go about attempting to quit....will have to peruse more of the forum over the coming days as I am sure there are many here with wonderful tips/tricks/thoughts/ etc.... Thanks everyone for the responses/comments...I truly appreciate the welcome :)

Don't start with lower nic eliquid. You probably should start with either 18 or 24mg strength. It's the nature of vaping that you will not absorb all the nic from the eliquid, and also when vaping the nic takes longer to enter your system. Vaping technique is different than smoking. Long slow vapes generally work better than the quick and short pulls from a cig.

If you experience strong craving for a cig, you need to up your nic strength.

The V3 from vaporus is a KR808 automatic battery and the starter kit comes with cartos. That's three important things to know when you start your vaping journey and also when you want to buy bits and pieces. It comes with a 280 mah battery unless you upgraded, so you will get roughly 3 hours between battery charges. It's a decent priced kit so you weren't overcharged, but it only came with one battery and a USB charger. You might want to order at least 1 more battery right away, and maybe a wall charger, or you will be very tempted back to analogs and, frustrated besides, while you wait for your battery to recharge between uses.
I was reviewing this again and it states that it comes with 2 batteries...as well as the wall adaptor...so thats a good thing...still waiting on my 'express delivery' from can post though lol! Vaporus.com: E-cigs, Electronic cigarettes, Personal vaporisers, e-liquids, accessories, Best in Canada ...will have to spend some time on the filling aspect of all this I think. I dont want to get it and just start puffing on it...as I really do want this to work for me...so Im trying to be as prepared for the switch as is possible...

Oh, good. Glad you will have 2 batteries. This is the one I thought you bought. Vaporus.com: E-cigs, Electronic cigarettes, Personal vaporisers, e-liquids, accessories, Best in Canada
I finally received it...and yes two batteries...wonderful... This might sound like a dumb question...and I have been browsing the forum looking for an answer of some sort....but I am wondering roughly how long/how many puffs others have found are equal to a full analog cig....maybe I should count how many I take to finish one? Not sure if it would be equivalent in nicotine anyway...but I certainly dont want to 'od' on nicotine via the esmoke lol!!! ***nevermind...I think I found a good thread on the matter....
