Newb - All guidance appreciated .. elusion needs an update !

Hi there,
I've just started down the path of e-cigs and I'm loving it.. I've started with and am ready to supercharge my 'elusion' out of NZ.
They are good, same size as an analog and I like how quick they re-charge etc, but expensive to run and I'm pretty sure I can get a better experience out of filling my own .. or changing out the cartridges for something different. I've read through quite a few elusion related posts and the only one that mentions able to be refilled I can't reply to get some more info because it's in the AU/NZ forum ..

Anyway, I'd like to know if there is a compatible cartridge to what I have, that I can refill, or purchase prefilled and enjoy my life even more .. (dramatic I know)



Any thought, suggestions or readily available substitutes that will utilise my batteries are very welcome !!

Looks like a 510/306 connection. So any 510 atty or carto, or for even more flavor a 306 standard resistance atty aught to work. I'd stay away from the low resistance stuff until you get a bigger battery. Of course I could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time

Not necessarily 510

Could be 510 or 306 (Joye)
Could be L88b (like Blu - reverse electrical polarity)
(the above 3 all have the same threading but not all electrically compatible for chargers)
Could be RN4081
Could be the looks-like-RN4081 but fits nothing model

They should know more about Elusion in the Australia / New Zealand section of ECF in National Forums

Once you have 5 non-spammed posts or replies in New Members and a 1 hour wait, then you can post elsewhere on the forum

Might just trash the lot and start with a new kit all together ..

Somebody said Elusion cartos thread onto 510 but don't electrically contact. however they think 510 cartos would contact on Elusion. try a pack of Boge 510 3 ohm cartomizers (not the hotter 2 ohm ones - they something the big fat models like Ego and Riva 510 can optionally use - batteries 450mah+)

"If the threads of the Elusions cartos match up with the 510 battery threads but are too short than it is likely that 510 cartos will work on the Ellusion batteries. "

Cheers again, conveniently I've ordered some ( along with a correct battery and charger .. just in case )

Even with the Kit you have, I am sure you can get yourself a bottle of E-Juice and either drip it onto the atty or even fill the cart back up?..

I had one of those "traditional looking" e-cigs (which I am sure if you stick to the world of e-cigs you will progressively move away towards a more powerful device) and I use to fill them by dripping, and it worked no problems!

All the best chap and look through this forum for advice, there is LOADS of it. Ego-T are great kits! anything with 501 atomizers are good!
