My 510 kit is on the way along with some juice and extras etc.

I have been taking chaga extract internally for almost a year. Pretty simple extract in 80 Proof Vodka (40%Alcohol/60%Water). For purposes of vaping, I drew off 180ml of the extract and forced it through a 2micron filter. I plan on making this extract a part of my base recipe as a medicinal kicker.

I've picked up PG and VG and would like to make a mixture of these. Then add them to my chaga extract. Mix it good and use it as a base to cut my nic juice and then add flavorings.

I'm using the Easy E-Juice Recipe Creator.

My question is. What would the percentages be for just a base of PG, VG and Vodka?

Any numbers to get me in the ballpark would be greatly appreciated. In ml or by percentage please.

Personally I would recommend 50% each. That mix seems to be about the best for vapor production. If you change it I would reduce the Vodka before I would the PG/VG but wouldn't drop it below 30%. It would probably be too thick below 30% and you may experience some burnt taste.

Also, my theory is the throat hit seems to increase as you increase flavoring. I could be wrong about that but it seems that is the case.

Good luck!

Sorry token...lost the thread.

For instance:

mix total=10ml
5ml vg
5ml pga (vodka or everclear)

Then flavor added. There is usually enough room to add flavor on top of the 10ml. For instance when I mix my girlfriends I do the above and add 5 drops of menthol liquid. It makes just a touch over 10ml.

We have now some 70mg unflavored and mix using it. Recipe for it is as follows:

5ml unflavored 70mg
5ml vg
5drops menthol

She loves it! I was beginning to wonder if we would ever find something she liked! lol

Sorry if I have confused you.

Thanks Joker. I have since found a supplier of bulk unflavored in a PG base. Won't be able to order until around March. When I do. I will be cutting it down to 1/4 of the original strength.

I already bought PG and VG and mixed up a 120ml 50/50 batch of those. I added 60ml of Chaga Extract (80 Proof Vodka) to that for 180ml of a final cut liquid. It's about the color of coffee now. It will lighten/thicken in the final cut I'm sure. This will be my base with which to cut with.

The first step in March will be to add equal amounts of my unflavored to VG. That will cut me down to half.

The 50/50 batch of Chaga Extract cutting base I mentioned above. Will be added in equal proportions to my newly cut juice. Top it off with 10% flavoring and call it good at slightly less than 1/4 strength due to the addition of any flavorings in the final step.

I've never seen the viscosity of regular smoke juice yet. This Chaga base I just mixed up looks pretty close to the viscosity of straight PG.

Token, what does chaga do for you? Never heard of it.

Hi Kurt,

Chaga is also known as the cinder conk (fungus). It's seen as a black canker like growth on birch trees. Birch trees produce natural anti-mutagens which are contained in the bark. The fungus absorbs these compounds and concentrates them in a form we can utilize. They are poly-saccharide and poly-phenol in nature. Meaning that they are soluble in water and PGA. So 80 Proof Vodka is a perfect solvent for extracting these compounds.
A lot of research has been done but I can't post links yet. The short of it is that the compounds cause cancer cells to self-destruct. It's been proven in lab studies, I have the white papers.

It's also the most potent anti-oxidant known. The numbers are completely off the chart compared with Goji Berry, Meeker Raspberries, Blueberries, Acai Berry etc. etc.

I have personal anecdotal evidence of what it can do. About a month into treatment, almost a year ago. I coughed up what I thought to be hard mucous at first. I spit it out and examined it. It was about the size of a dime. A flat sheet of spongy pink material with a cluster of tiny white and brownish globs right in the center. My lung was sore for a few days but when it got better. I could breathe a lot easier. Can't prove anything but there it is. I'm convinced it was cancer and that's all the proof I need for myself.

I'm hoping that by vaping the chaga extract. I can bypass the digestive system and deliver it straight to the circulatory through the pulmonary. This is just in case there are any cancers hiding out somewhere else.

I just got my first 510 kit today. After everything else I tried the chaga extract in 50/50 straight with no flavor and no N-Juice. I don't feel a throat hit until the exhale. It's kinda spicy on it's own. Waking up the soft pallet on the way out like a normal cigarette would. It's a medicinal vape so I suppose it can fly as is or maybe with a mint.
Watermelon seems to be the best of the three Lorann's I tried so far. Apricot and Eggnog didn't go over well with me. Added some Watermelon to the Apricot to make it palatable. Glad I tried them in 50/50 first.
