NewB sick of Blu

Unless they've changed Blu's are 510 threaded.....

I must've missed a post or two. Blu's are def 510. I know this because all the leftover blu carts I had fit perfectly into my 510 connectors.

On another note, I've figured out that my direct usb mods aren't having a power issue at all, they're having a leaking issue. Whenever one stops working right, I unscrew the tankomizer and find a tiny drop of eliquid on the battery connector. Drying it off immediately fixes the issue. First I thought it was a bad cartomizer, so I tried different ones of varying resistance that work fine on other mods, and every cart I have works fine except when used on the direct usb mod. My only assumption is that the slightly higher voltage is causing the carto to leak for some reason?

All my other mods use 4xAAA batteries, which should add up to 6 volts, but is actually closer to 5 volts for whatever reason. I may have to finally get a multimeter to figure this one out...

Found a couple things after spening some time playing with my usb mod at work today.

1) If I keep sucking on the driptip for a couple seconds after releasing the button I don't get any liquid on the connector; I guess there was excess vapor that would leak down onto the connector?

2) When looking down the cartomizer while pushing the button, I can see a glowing orange light towards the bottom of the atomizer. Probably has something to do with the voltage and resistance being applied, as I don't see this on my other mods.

I ordered the manual usb passthrough last night from madvapes...I'll keep using this one for a couple days until that arrives. I really prefer the amout of vapor I get from the USB mod over any other mods I have :/ Hopefully the non-diy one is just as good.

this passthrough from madvapes is the best thing I've ever vaped. possibly the best $15 I've ever spent. works great on ac adapter, or in a car adapter, or directly on a usb port. with this and my custom puck mods, I'm all set.

I'd have to agree, a passthrough is the best way to not worry about batteries duh.
you could using it in your laptop, home PC, car or iPod dongle thing. I'm thinking of wetting one for my car and the a tank system, SWEET>!!!
