I've been vaping for 6 months and I just stumbled into the wonderful world of reo mods. Now I am wondering which one to get? I want the smallest reo which i think is the reo mini v1 because i plan on carrying it around with me at work (in my pocket) so i would like it to be as discreet & compact as possible.

I just started rebuilding my evod wicks and genesis-style rbas. Can someone please explain how the reo wicking system works. Also, what thread are the reos? I've never heard of 501 until now.

What's the most stable atty setup? This is going to be in my pocket most of the time so I am worried about possible leaking with the reo rba.

Is there a mini VV reo? preferably metal. that would be sweet!

The smallest on is the mini which uses a 14500 battery. Next is the mini 2.1 which uses a 18490 battery. Both have 3ml bottles in them. I don't have the mini but I do have the 2.1 and I'd suggest it. I have some other mods that use the 14500's and the batteries are a bit limiting for me. They have shorter runtime and can't handle as high a draw on them. The 2.1 is very pocket friendly and can last all day, depending on your vaping habits. The REOmizer 2.0 is the way to go on any Reo. It performs great and is very easy to setup. The only way one would leak in your pocket is if you really over squonk and then pocket it without vaping the juice in the atty. You'd almost have to do it on purpose to get it to leak.

If you want a single bottle of juice and a battery charge to last from wake-up to bedtime, get a Grand. The front profile can be hidden with a business card, with more than 1/4" to spare. About the same height and depth as a pack of regular length filter cigarettes, but not nearly as wide. Uses a 6 milliliter (ml) bottle of juice and can use a 2000 milliamp-hour (mAH) 18650 AW IMR battery.

The Mini 2.1 has a 3 ml bottle and uses an 1100 mAH 18490 battery, about the same capacity as an eGo Twist/Vision Spinner. Should last through an eight-hour work day for most, but you may wind up carrying a spare bottle of juice and battery in a plastic battery case about the same size as the mod.

The Mini uses a 3 ml bottle and a 14500 battery with a bit less capacity than the typical small eGo. Fine for a short trip to the store where you don't want much vapor, but sure wouldn't want it to be my only REO.

The juice in the bottle travels up the tubing and into your atomizer or cartomizer. We call it "squonking" when you give the bottle a little push to move the juice.

REO's don't usually leak. Many people carry them in pockets or purse with no problem. The RM2 is great, juice is usually sucked back down and no leaking.

The REO's have a 510, 306 connector.

For comparison here are some pics!

Grand, a "regular" size Bic, and EA MOD in 18500 "mode".

One other thing... the Grand and Mini 2.1 can use the RM2. The Mini 2.0 and Mini can't, but I think Rob can turn one down to fit (someone correct me if I'm wrong).

It is true. Robert can get a RM2 to fit any REO. Just contact him when ordering or send it to him.

Hey Man :)

I'd suggest a grand or two. Two main reasons:

If your into RBA's, it's the mod all bottom fed RBAs are designed around.

It's only slightly larger than a mini and less likely to tip over in your pocket than a mini (they are tiny)

The added bonus is the 18650 batts and 6ml bottle.

Like Karen said, it's a 510 connection :)

Best of luck in your choice bro :)

I agree with the shorter battery life. I couldn't disagree more with you saying it doesn't make much vapor. My mini makes clouds with a 1.5ohm 306 or 1.7ohm shorty cartomizer on it.

If you don't carry a purse or have a bag handy, most of time, for extra batteries and/or juice I recommend the Grand. Chances are you don't have "child hands" if you don't carry purse/bag so Grand will be a good fit. (Although the Grand isn't all that big and many peeps with tiny hands prefer the Grand.) (And the 14500, although my most used around my "jungle" because it tucks so well into tiny pockets and boob-purse, it is not as comfortable for my smallish, arthritic hands.)

My favorite out and about size is Mini 18490 (ver 2.0 or 2.1) as it has lots of battery power, is more comfortable for my hands, and tucks nicely into most of the small pockets in my various purses and, of course it too fits in boob-purse for short periods of time. But due to 3 ml bottle I always carry extra juice. And I always carry extra batteries no matter the size REO. I like to be prepared and have found myself in situations where my time away from home base (most often home) was unexpectedly extended by hours or day or more.

I like to have a couple of spare emergency LR cartos and DT in big bag, too, no matter what REO(s) I carry with me. If I was out more, long distances from home, I'd keep a spare charger in car, too. (Twice I've left home for several hours out, left with almost empty 3ml bottle, no extra juice bottle, and had to purchase throw aways. So I just leave one 30 ml bottle, that I top up one at home REO with, in purse, in baggie. No more leaving home without juice.)

For some people the weight factor is no issue for shirt pockets. It is for me, not that many of my women's shirts have breast pockets. When they do have pockets, for me the 14500 Mini is best. 18490 Mini is not much larger but the bigger battery adds a lot of weight.
