I too try to buy my purses with extra pockets for my Reos but they always seem to clash with the ensemble I want to wear. I'm thinking of just carrying a Mini in my garter. Hope it doesn't leak... fishnet nylons are expensive.

You're a trip, Jack!

Bought "my" Reo Grand today. Spoke with Rob. As everyone has said he is super helpful, patient and a nice guy.
Thanks Rob.

What'd ya get? Congrats to both you and your wife. You are sure to be pleased with the REOs once you have them in hand.

hello everyone,
As a brief history been vaping about 5 months now. started with an ego t, moved on to cartos which i never liked as i could always taste the poly fill. tried a Vivi Nova and was thoroughly unimpressed. i then jumped into RBAs and currently use a Provari with a Gemini rba. i have been completely satisfied with the genesis style and enjoy the control i have over my setup. i am now looking for "ahem" a back up unit which could substitute my setup. although i love the genesis setup i find that it is not always practical especially when i am at work. in my search i have stumbled into the REO world. the nearly fanatical obsession has peaked my interest.
i am looking at the REO mini as i need a mod that will fit in my vest pocket. i would like to top it with a RBA(in order to satisfy my control issues)such as the Hornet or preferably a Chalice. of paramount concern is flavor. i have become somewhat of a flavor snob nowadays. has anyone who uses a genesis RBA noticed a decrease in flavor?(i realize its SS vs Silca wick). any and all input is greatly appreciated. thanks for the help.

" fanatical obsession" that describes us perfectly, lol.!

So Cal
Just received our Reo Grands today. Already in love with them. Fits my vest pocket even better and more securely than my Provari. Although i did make foam mock ups I am surprised at the actual size of these units, they fit in my palm perfectly. As everyone has said these are built like tanks. I can now go to work with an infinitely practical Mod. Thank you everyone for your help with our first Reos, I know they aren't our last. Also thank you Rob for the blazingly fast shipping.
I will post pics later tonight.

So Cal
Well three weeks in and the Reo Grand has changed my vaping life. This mod is so much more practical than any other combo i have used. As a little history, I used to take my genesis atomizer riding atop a provari with me everywhere. Out of necessity I had to bring along supplies including: batteries(18350s'), eliquid, pre-rolled wicks(ss), kanthal, small screwdrivers and blunt tip syringe. I never realized what a PITA that was until i started using my Grand. as mentioned by other my Provari now sits languishing. My REO laughs off the rough handling it receives at work, it functions each time and every time. I currently use a 901 with drip shield and have never even seen juice in the catch cup. Damn I love this mod.
Black wrinkle/Silver metallic.

Skipper2101, thank you for reporting back about loving the REO. We all know how great they are, and it's hard not to just gush about them with someone new comes along asking questions. But the reward for us is when someone comes back and tells us that it is, in fact, as good as we made it out to be. How does your wife like hers? Does she have a special place in her purse that holds it? I actually BUY my purses now for the sole purpose of accommodating my REOs. :)

everytime i read these threads i realize how lucky i am that some unknown reonaught pointed my in the right direction.

Yes, fatherdano, you got lucky. I know you said your screen name has nothing to do with religion, but I swear you have had a Guardian Angel looking over you from the beginning!!

Yup! This is why I like them. I never did do the tube mod route. Went from a little standard 510 stick to a box mod. It just made more sense to me. I don't have to worry about REOs. Don't have to be worried about them rolling off tables or counters. No worries about keeping them upright. They always work. Easy to slip into a purse or pocket.

I did have on occasion some slight leaking into the drip well. I live in TN and sometimes the change in altitude will make it self-feed a bit. BUT, I've never had a mess in my purse from it. The catch cup kept it nicely contained when I was using shorty carts.

I've got a hornet on one now and a reomizer on another. I doubt I'd have any leaking into the catch cup now going over mountains as the RBAs are large enough to hold the couple drops that might feed.

So nice that you're enjoying it! What does your wife think about hers?
