Hey people

Could do with some help. I bought my first E-cig and i got to say its great. I xccan definitely see myself stopping smoking for good and replacing e-cigs with it.

Anyway can someone tell me how to create/add use different flavours. Taking into consideration i know veery little about them. I have read the sticky at the top of the pagge it was great but i didnt quite understand how to refill/create a cartridge. So mmy questions are

1. how/what do i refill with? do the various flavours contain nictoine, Or do i add nicotine? so say ive got an battery and atomiser. what do i get and mix to get something smokeable?

2.how much do i add? i only used to smoke 7 approx cigs a day with 0.1mg nicotine per cig.

3. where can i get a variety of flavours in the UK? best place online?

your help would be appreciated

Cheers

1. What PV do you have? Filling a cart is different to a cart-o-mizer is deferent to dripping.

2. Fill it till its full. If you get all the nic you need then you can stop vapeing. Or keep another PV with 0 nic to use then.

3. No idea not from UK

I wouldn't worry about mixing. buy premixed stuff 1st. It will come in a flavor and a nicotine level. I would recomend a 24 mg, but I have a heavey smoker, mabe 18 might work for you.

pv? is that e-cig? i bought one from a local shop the e-cig is called triple halo look at their website triplehalo dot com
Im going to buy a 501 from totally wicked soon the one i have at the moment came with a battery, atomiser and prefilled cartridges. Its an automatic one. I just plug the cartridge to the atomiser.

what does a mix contain?

I really wanna try, different flavours. Hence why i wanna learn how to create teh meixes

A e-cig is exactly what i needed because i hid from family and friends and smoked, i felt it was shameful and im 28 lol. I can really see myself stopping tobacco now.

Anyway excuse my novice questions, im on the forums where i have knowledge and newbs can be annoying but i genuinely wanna learn and need ur help.

PV = personal vaperizer = e-cig

A mix is e-juice, sold in bottle of 10-30ml. Its a mixture of Propylene Glygol (PG) the stuff used in smoke machines, and nicotine. The liquid will have a strength XXmg of nicotine in 1ml. You can get it unfavored for mixing or flavored. This is what is in your carts. When you buy it in a bottle you can re-fill your carts or drip it, which is much cheaper. tottally wicked e-liquid is a company site that sells e-juice.

Aha its starting to make sense now.

So basically if i get the e-juice (PG+nicotine mix) i can mix that with flavour?

and my final question is you said "when you buy it in a bottle you can refill your carts or drip it" what did you by drip it?

Thanks for your advice

Yes you can mix it with flavor, but you have to get the right type of flavor. There are recipts in DIY e-juice here.

I wouldn't worry about mixing, just order some stuff already flavored. You will see something like 30ml Cherry Flavored 26mg e-juice - $19.99.

Dripping is when you have a 3-piece PV (not a 2-peice). You remove the cart with leaves the exposed atty. You drip a few drops right on the atty and vape from that. When it stops vapeing you drip a few more drops in it. This works better than carts, but doesn't last as long so it requires more work.

Get a small eye dropper and use it to fill your cartridges up.

The 'mix' juice can be 0mg nicotine.

If you have 24mg nic. in your juice already, and you get 0mg nic mixing juice--you can take another container, fill it half full with 24mg smokejuice, then fill the other half up with mixing juice and you will have 12mg nic. (mixing juice is real cheap I paid $3 for 15ml.

On the internet, all smokejuice I've ever seen says what nicotine level it has. If you are gonna get juice with nicotine...then get as high nic as possible 24mg/36mg is best.....then get that cheap mixing juice Pg or VG...or a combination of both. Mine is 80% PG and 20% VG.

Welcome aboard!

Thnaks for your help people.

Ive just been looking on TW, what the heck is decadent vapours and how do they work?

It's their branded name for liquid produced in the UK vs. China. All TW liquids are relativaly expensive. If you're interested in mixing your own check out DIY e-liquid - e-cigarette-forum.com • The place for electronic cigarette reviews, news and chat With you being a very light smoker. I don't think you need a very strong liquid, so either mixing your own or cutting (diluting) juice you buy then adding back flavor with products like Lorann's, then refilling and dripping onto the atomizer won't cost a lot. There's lots of info to absorb, but the videos in the sticky section for New Members will help you understand a little better.

Thanks,

is there any videos on how to drip a 501?

Also on how to refill a 501 cartridges? That would be a great help.

I bought an e-cig locally called Triple Halo, its goodd i just sit infront of the computer and vape and i enjoy it. I need to get a better e-ci now so im gonna buy a titan 501 and some flavours.
Ive noticed that with a real cig i smoke it in like 5 mins but i vape for periods of like 15-20 mins anything wrong with that?

Like you said theres alot of stuff to take in.

i'm a noob myself and here's what i call "the noob bible" http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/36180-wonderful-world-vaping-illustrated-guide-e-cigs-parts-1-through-5-6-please-do-not-post-here-thank-you.html it should be overloaded with pictures so if you're not getting any, just refresh the page...

i suggest read all of it but particularly for your juicing questions (and videos) check out part 3. explains drip vs dip, how to change carts and has videos on them and how to make your own juice. Of course i recommend as others have to start with some pre-made stuff with low nic (since you only smoke like 7 a day, i smoke a pack a day and i stuck with 11-18mg and that's enough since i like to vape all day).

also you can mix the premade juices. I like french vanilla and chocolate so i dripped into my cart 6 drops of chocolate (11mg) and dripped the french vanilla (11mg) until the cart looked like slush, added one drop to the atomizer and enjoyed.

yes it's very normal to vape more than you had with cigarettes. i've read some people vape all day, almost non-stop so 15-20 mins should be fine.

UK suppliers: I too am from the states so I can't give you much but here is what i DO have for the 510: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/joye-510/16487-510-kits-parts-suppliers-links-only-no-discussion-please.html This list of suppliers for the 510 has UK in bold so check those out and def check out the UK social group, i'm sure they have plenty of links for you.

hope that helped!

Just an FYI, but that 0.1mg is per drag/hit. Cigarettes contain approx 1-2mg nicotine

Are you sure?

The box clearly states 0.1 mg nicotine. They are teh lightest cigs ive ever come across and smoking them was like smoking 80% air and 20% cig.

If i smoked anything more than Silk cut ultra lights i felt my lungs were rough. Nevertheless they are Harmful, hence me going to e-cigs now.
