What is the mix here of flavor chasers vs. Cloud champs?

Love the flavor but also love chasing the clouds, unfortunately I know the best for clouds is V.G. and best flavor is P.G. so still trying to get just the right mix to make both sides of my brain happy LOL....

See, I am learning already.

As for the 3 threads, call it impatience, as I am sure a large number of people never read this forum... and while I understand filtering... it is a bit odd to be put in a playpen until I am grown up enough to be in the main gym?

It's been my experience that a lot of the veterans respond to posts in the New Members Forum -- it seems to be part of the Pay It Forward theme that a lot of the former smokers seem to have. I received really good advice in the beginning, from Baditude and other members who pointed me towards better equipment, and, always, away from cigarettes.

Overall, I've been really impressed by how much folks want to help new members find the set-up that works for them. It seems to me that the Forum rules, including the 5-post "playpen", cut down on spam, trolls, and other unpleasantness. I found it wasn't too difficult to post 5 times in one day, so it's not too hard to escape the playpen, if it really bugs you. Meanwhile, I think it's kind of nice that we all start at the same place, though our journeys will diverge soon enough as some of us go off to the Reo forum, or the DIY forum, or the Legislative arena, or what-have-you. For a brief while, we all take the same steps, together.

I'm not a cloud champ.

I don't think I quite qualify as a flavor chaser.

I'm more into being free of the cigs and keeping it simple and cheap/hassle free.

But for cloud there HAS to be some cloud; MORE cloud than a cigarette for my piece of mind.
Can't spend all that money on shiney metal and electric power and not see obvious clear IN YOUR FACE kind of obvious cloud.

Welcome! I'm brand new here and still discovering what I like and don't. A bit of experimenting is in order, but i sure like getting away from cigarettes.
At the moment i don't really see the point of huge clouds (as long as it is the same or a bit more than an analog), it seems like it would just use more juice and make it a bit harsher, but i'm sure that i'm missing something. Those with more experience can chime in.
