Ok so i have had my Riva (510 threads) for about 2 months and i am loving it. I use Boge cartos, I pre-fill a few, cap them and I i am set for the day. But now I am ready to move up to a big batt, mainly for when i am at home and letting the Riva charge up. I am not as worried about price because the Riva allowed me to understand this is a life choice for the better plus I save 5 dollars a day...oh my birthday is coming up so i am treating myself.
I really don't know what I am looking for except that the "Silver Bullet" from altsmoke.com looks cool and has some good reviews. I understand I will need some batteries as well like 18650, cr123 and the chargers for 3.7v and 6v vaping, respectively.

Is this the right step up or am I missing something? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

PS. One down side to the Riva is it always goes off in my pocket becuse of the protuded button. So a quick fix that I came up with was to get a condom from a boge carto, cut it, put a hole in it and slip it over the button and boom its flush and still easily pushable with your finger. (see images..sorry for the crappy images but i think you will get the idea)

Hi!
Silver Bullet is a great choice. Sturdy, durable, and beautiful. But it's still a 3.7 volt PV. If you are willing to spent for more than $100, I recommend you to get a Provari from provape.com. A variable voltage PV with great construction & beautiful too. You can read tons of reviews about provari on the mod review. There are tons of video reviews about it too on youtube.

I've nevered owned a silver bullet but heard great things about them.

If you want a mod that will never make you look back, I suggest going with a variable voltage device. With VV, you get the unique feature to be able to dial in your juices. Nothing beats that. Mike at notcigs.com is who builds them...check it out.

There are so many different mods out there, have fun looking through all of them.

Ya I think a variable voltage device is what i may be looking for because sometimes I have a juice that taste awesome in a cart but then in the carto it taste totally different or no taste at all. So is there a lot of variable voltage devices to chose from and which ones are highly rated.

Ps you guys are awesome..thanks so much...I can't wait to be able to repay the forum by lending my expertise some day.

I love my Riva, and I have 5v NHaler too. When most talk about moving up, it refers to voltage. The mods mentioned are 3.7- the same vape your Riva gives you. You could try the Riva SE at 4.2 volts if you want to see if you like the warmer vape with less TH. That's what I did. And I prefer the Riva special edition over both my mod and the regular Riva. If you want a truly great mod, consistency on every hit and the ability to choose you level of vape with the turn of a button, get a Darwin.
But to each their own. Enjoy!

The ProVari is certainly a great choice for variable voltage. My good buddy has one and cant put it down. The silver bullet is also a great choice for a 3.7V vape. A buddy of mine has quite a few mods of all kinds, some of the nicest and most expensive out there, and he says he still comes back to the silver bullet. Both would be a great choice.

I own a Silver Bullet. Great mod, great service. It's a little large for me. At 3.7v with an 18650 batt it hits just a little harder than a Riva. If you plan on 6v vaping you might consider an Omega from Altsmoke. It's made with vent holes in the bottom where SBs are not. (safety)

Might check out the GLV2s and GLV3s from GreatLakesVapor. The 3 a convertible mod that's a top feeder, bottom feeder and tube mod all in one. I was just reading the raving reviews. Can't go wrong with either of these vendors. Happy shopping and congrats on upgrading.

I think the provari is my max limit, at 160 dollars plus the cost of batts and charger. Anyone know of a variable voltage device at a great cost or current specials/ coupons?

If you want a cheaper VV, Buzz Pro from notcigs.com are great too. But there is a feature in Provari which is not found on Buzz Pro, to measure the resistance of your atty/carto (but you can use a multi-meter to do that).
Currently Provape don't have a coupon/code for a discount.
