Newbe Question

Just got the ego mega kit with the dual coil cartomizers, all works great except for the cracking and snapping sounds. sounds like liquid hitting hot flames. Is this normal for this setup, or is liquid to thin or thick ect. These are the 900ma batteries and mega dual coil carts.. juice is from madvapes.

That sounds normal to me all of my Dual coils are loud.

That is entirely normal in my experience, regardless of the liquid I put in or the consistency of it.

Welcome to the forum! That crackling sound is good. It'll lessen over time, but in general that sound means you're going to get a good vape.

Same thing happens with an 801 atty & cart, let's me know things are nice and wet.

I visited a brick & mortar shop, and they threw in a dual coil with my juice purchase. The snapping and crackling kind of freaked me out, but the vapor was great. I did end up storing it in the tackle box for a rainy day though, because the sound drives my wife nuts...

I remember the first time I tried a duel coil carto and it snapped, crackled & popped. I mean really popped. Scared the crap out of me. I thought I'd burned it out. I email the vendor about it and he said that was normal and a good thing so now it's music to my ears.
