Hi everyone! I've just joined the vaping world and I am soooo happy ! There is sooo much information that i'm finding it overwhelming. I purchased some PG/VG and some flavoring's etc. My mistake was also purchasing some "150mg /pg unflavored Nicotine" for whatever reason I thought it was 150 ml of normal strength Nicotine. YES i realize I CANNOT use it straight and that it must be mixed...trouble is , the ejuice calculators confuse me with such a powerful strength of Nicotine. Any help, receipes, experience would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!! :facepalm:

Homeish now
You know the easiest thing to do is to cut all of it in half with some straight Pg or Vg...make yourself some 75mg unflavored nic.
then go from there with your mixing and such. 75mg is reasonably safe to have around and work with (still be careful of course)
You dont want to make it same level you vape, b/c it still isnt mixed with the flavors and such...once you add those it will go down even more.

Cant really help with exact numbers, would need to know how many ml's you have of it as well.

and whats "normal strength"???

Oh and we have a whole section of DIY recipes, how tos. ect suggest you check it out. :D

OneStopDIYShop and DIYFlavorShack have DIY stuff like PG, VG, flavorings, bottles, measuring stuff.

Use rubber or surgical gloves, eye protection, apron if you have one and do this away from kids and pets and clean up well.

The simple inexact way to make some juice. Mix a dilution with some of your nic juice and some PG. Figure out how much nic juice and how much PG will make 24mg nic juice or 16-18mg or 10-12mg or whatever you want.
I think approx

24mg = 5 parts PG with 1 part nic (your 150mg nic)
16mg = 8 parts PG with 1 part nic
12mg = 11 parts PG and 1 part nic

I do not know if your nic is in PG or VG. I use high PG juices but a bit of VG is nice in them - smooths it a bit and adds more vapor. My own juices are 80PG/20VG. You could replace small amount of the PG with VG (unless your nic is already in VG in which case you could just replace a bit of the PG in the lower nic mixes).

And then add flavoring. Obviously this is inexact - once you add flavoring you will be diluting the nicotine strength. Some flavorings only need 10%, some need 15%, some may need to be 20% of the juice (practice various amounts with plain PG to test what you want)

To do something ore complex and correct, here is an ejuice calculator
eJuice Me Up - e-Juice e-Liquid Recipe Calculator

Ok..now i really realize how stupid I am LOL ..thanks a bunch!! I was looking at all the receipes (drop # calculations etc.) and got a little overwhelmed. I think i'll just cut it 4x...i was thinking "normal strength" to be 36 mg /nic and under..The e-cig i bought came with 24mg cartridges and "nicotine juice" ..it doesn't say what strength the juice is..I found that I've had to juice the cartridge 3x today and I'm almost not craving a cigarette. I'll fiddle with it..but if there is any experience out there with this strength of juice please let me know !

Thanks again! I tried to download the ejuiceme up calculator and it gave me an error msg. about not havin the right .net ? weird

Sounds like you're missing of Microsoft's .NET Framework 3.5. You have 2 options here:

1. Attempt to use Windows Updater to download/install it for you. (Would not recommend unless you really like yelling at your computer)

2. Click the link below. Choose your language. (I'm a big fan of english, my french is too rusty) Click Download. Locate file in your Downloads folder. Double Click. Follow instructions on screen.

Download Details - Microsoft Download Center - .NET Framework 3.5

Note: If it isn't version 3.5 that its asking for, plug whichever version it tells you it needs (along with the word download) into your favorite search engine (fan of the big G myself) and you should find a link to a page quite similar to the one above, follow the rest of step 2 from there.

You know the easiest thing to do is to cut all of it in half with some straight Pg or Vg...make yourself some 75mg unflavored nic.

This is a good suggestion and it sounds like it is what you are going to do, that's good. Cutting this to 75mg or even 36mg will not only make it safer to handle, but will drastically reduce the potential nic overload dangers from a mixing mistake.
