Are you looking for flavor or aroma?

Your tongue can only sense sweet, salty, bitter, sour and umami (msg)

A green apple juice's vapor should taste a bit sweet and sour and smell like apple

dormouse is correct and you are most likely one of us who needs some sweetness to get the flavor to "pop". For fruit based flavors I mix in 1% TPA sweetner flavor, which is just sucralose in PG. For tobacco based juices I use Ethyl Malto and that is their cotton candy flavor (10% EM in PG). The flavor in your mixs look a little heavy but everyones tastes are different. Also are you 100% PG???? VG can mute flavor. For me the sweetspot is 80pg/20vg.

I had this same issue when I started out and found my flavors seemed flat and were missing something. I then tasted my favorite juices from the Suppliers I was buying from and they all had a "sweetness" to them. This made me realize that I gravitated to those because of the sweetness and once I added it to my DIY my juice buying days were over. I hope this helps and keep at it, once you dial it in this really is easy to do.

No problem ghost. Try 10% on the flavor and 1% sweetner. You can always add more flavor but is harder than hell to take it out :). Let us know if that does the trick. I bet it will. I was amazed at what a difference it made for me anyway. On the apple dial in the overall flavor first with 1% sweetner and about 10% flavor. Try it and if it is close then try adding the sour a drop at a time. I always mix 3ml batches when trying recipes and take notes. It sucks when you get it right and can't remeber if it was 6 drops or 8 drops etc.
