Hi everyone!

I just ordered my first kit, an ego-c from altsmoke, along with NuPort and BluIce high liquids. I have been browsing thru this forum for a few days trying to research which setup and juice to get. I have been a Camel Menthol/Marlboro Menthol lights smoker for the past 10+ years. And I can't wait to quit analogs!

I'm still a little bit confused about the VG/PG ratios and which juice would vape well with the Ego-C. What would you guys recommend for a good menthol with decent TH.

Thank you for any advice and suggestions!

Admir, Welcome to the ECF.
Your Ego_C cartridge doesn't feed high VG juices well (they're too thick for the little wick), so I would consider 50% VG the maximum and try for something closer to 60/40 PG/VG ratio. The VG produces more vapor. Some attribute TH to only nic content and others to PG. IDK for sure.

I'm sorry I can't help with a menthol recommendation, I haven't tried many and didn't like the ones I did try.

I too was a menthol smoker and have not found a menthol juice I like. I decided to try some peppermint from ecblend and that did the trick for me. Now I tend to add peppermint into everything!! Anyway good luck and I would recommend ordering sample sizes for awhile as your tastes will likely adapt and change around quickly in the beginning.

welcome and congrats!

I'd get 50/50 mix. that's what I'm using on my Vapure emerald. (it's a self contained tank with ego c like atty in it)

I tried full VG in it and it was too thick. wouldn't wick fast enough...

also, try some low resistance cartos with your ego. you'll see good results.

Welcome to ECF!!!! I think finding your sweet spot on the juice is the hardest part. If you don't like the flavors you've selected don't give up, just keep on trying. For the most part, I am vaping mostly just tobacco flavors without the menthol, because it's been so difficult for me to find the right one.

I do had menthol to tobacco now and again for that menthol taste. I was a Newport smoker.

Best of success to you!!!!!

like someone has mentioned before, try a mint flavor it might be what youre after. I was an occasional menthol smoker. it really depends on what type of menthol youve smoked. maybe pick up an unflavored e liquid and some mint or menthol flavoring to add to it and see what fits you. then you have a control and can kind of gauge from there

Hi and welcome! I was smoking rollies with natural tobacco when I recently started vaping. Lots of my friends smoke Newports and I used to bum one once in a while. Never usually bought them as all the chemicals would make me ill if I smoked too many of them. Sooooo, I found a nice sale in the deals and steals forum and got a bottle of Dekang Nport at 24 mg nicotine. Not sure what the ratio is, but I would guess about 70/30. To me, it tastes like a menthol, gives great vapor and flavor and no ill effects! Menthols can be very tricky though, especially if you are picky. An e-cig will never be able to exactly replicate the taste of actual burning tobacco. But, for me, analogs were just a way for me to get my nico fix, just as coffee is a way to get my caffeine fix. The tastes of both my vices never was something I loved. Hence, my experiments with sweet tasting liquids! Why "smoke" something that tastes like a ciggy when it can taste like a candy bar???? lol!

With sales, swaps and sample packs, you can find a lot of inexpensive stuff to try! Check out the pif forums, too and all the contests! You might actually get something to try for free! Good Luck and Happy vaping!

Welcome!

I'm pretty new as well, and just bought a bottle of vanilla juice at my local smoke shop - it didn't taste very good and was hard to draw...I read the label this afternoon and saw it was 100% VG.
Not nearly as good as the blended juices I bought online....there's some trial and error in finding the right set-up and juice but it's all part of the adventure. :)
