My current favorites are sweet cape batter and French toast with syrup.
at the moment im smoking a blackberry flavor with my new ego twist on a duel coil cartomizer, its amazing. im also a big fan of cappichino flavors but i cant smoke them constantly cause it drys out my lips for some reason.
if you are new to vaping careful with sweet flavors, sometime a specific flavor can dull your tastebuds, its not permanent but its a little anoying.

Here and There
After much research I ordered an eGo C Twist along with a stardust cartomizer and an initial 15ml bottle of RY4 High Calibre from Altsmoke. I DON'T smoke. I like the occasional Ashton cigar but always regret it the next morning. Since we received the eGo C Twist today I keep swiping it from the fiancé who has been smoking for 35 years. Yeah...I'm addicted. I think a 2nd, or 3rd battery is inevitable and I'll need to find my own low grade juice. He's using the 18mg since he's a pack a day smoker. That's a little high for me but I'll admit it I think I like it just as much if not more than him.

If your fiance smoked in your presence for an extended period of time,
you might have received a regular dose of nic via second hand smoke.
This might explain your wanting to vape.

But if that's not the case ... you don't need permission from anyone to vape.
Just enjoy it ... at a nic level that feels right. Good luck to you!:)

We aren't here to judge each other, we are here to help.

Perhaps some misunderstood my post. Let me clarify my opinion.

1) As for the thing about banning, some of you may be a bit naive. During the Casey Anthony trial, one of the more brilliant jury consultants (and it was brilliant) figured out how to leverage social media for litigation purposes.

This had never been done. She *mined* Facebook for months to "quantitatively and qualitatively test courtroom presentation, trial themes, opening statements, jury selection, direct examination, witness testimony" , etc. and had an audience of 1 billion users, who were willing to give this information (unknown to them of course) for free....unpaid surrogate jurors. This led to one side having such a finely tuned and optimal strategic planning that the other side could not match it.

IMHO, it is therefore unwise to RECOMMEND, in any way, vaping nicotine laden e-liquids to non smokers. It's exactly the thing that will get it banned in some municipalities......it's just the ammunition attorney generals and busy bodies NEED to start passing laws.

2) I WAS trying to help. I had no way of knowing if a new user, who says they are not a smoker, knows that e-liquids contain nicotine, or that nicotine is an addictive substance.

There is no harm in telling someone that, is there?

A) Reading the new users forum it appears to me that the *majority* of people who vape are doing so to kick analog cigarettes. They had trouble getting off analogs because they are addicted to nicotene.

B) One of the warnings that people share here is NOT to run out of supplies, because this may cause them to go out and buy a pack of smokes.

C) In this flow chart of logical thinking (I hope) it would not be illogical to see that a non smoker, who is NOT addicted to nicotine, may very well become addicted by smoking an e-liquid with 18% nicotine in it.

I personally don't feel I am hurting or judging anyone by not "encouraging" them (adult or otherwise) to vape 18% nicotine when they are a non-smoker.....I at least want to place a small warning there. That it "could" be addictive to them.

It has nothing whatsoever to do with my wanting to limit anyone's right or inclination to do something. If I'm going to interact with someone, I think about what I'm doing, and take nothing for granted.

I believe someone with a background in health and safety, and/or litigation, could kind of see some of my points. So could anyone who saw somebody with flash burn because they didn't know not to look directly at a welding arc. :) It happens a lot.

I see no real HARM in being judicious in this way.

Certainly, my apologies to the OP and another new user who also mentioned being a non smoker. It was not my intent to judge you in any way.

Racehorse, just so you know, I was not offended by your post in particular. I feel you have valid points, a right to express your opinion, and a right to state true facts, like vaping can get you addicted to nicotine. My post was more in reference to the idea that non smokers shouldn't consider vaping at all. Thank you for being rational and considerate in your ideas and posts.

Thank you, fencing girl. I fully support your right to vape-vape-vape away!

The reason this forum is so great is the INFORMATION.

I appreciate diverse opinions, because they aid me in being fully informed.

This enhances, rather than limits, my ability to make free choices and decisions about what it is that I want to do and accomplish.

ex. the * plastic versus glass bottles for eliquids* topic.....no majority consensus, but all the differing opinions were valuable and helped inform my decision about how *I* will want to store my stuff.

My opinion is it's idiotic to start vaping liquids that contain nicotine if you don't already smoke and, or, have a nicotine problem just like it was idiotic for me to start smoking cigarettes back in 1978.

You are 100% free to be idiotic if you are 18 or over but think about it long and hard BEFORE you become dependent on nicotine.

If they had had both cigs and PVs available back before I started smoking, I would probably have selected the PV (and used nic).

None of us are going to RECOMMEND that you vape, or that you vape nic juice. However, it's a free country. I'd recommend not vaping at all, or vaping 0 nic, or vaping low nic... in that prioritized order.

Welcome to ECF.

People that don't smoke shouldn't vape.

I thought most here fall into the category of not smoking and vaping. :p
In all seriousness things are not so black and white and while I support your right to voice your opinion the totality of it troubles me. I am a non-smoker. I vape. I thoroughly enjoy it and it is my choice to vape only 0 nic. My doctor supports my decision for a few reasons. I also am happy to give information and hand out CASAA cards to any smokers who see me vaping and are interested. I wish someone had done that for my Mom while she was still alive.

My Dad is a man that sees things as his way or no way and I'm grateful because it taught me to be open-minded and to look at things from all angles, not just one.
Peace

DW vapes just a little, a 6mg sweet mix. She uses it when she wants a little pick up and doesn't want caffeine. She uses maybe a ml in a week.

I need to whip up a bit of 0 for her, too. Sometimes she just wants the sweet flavor, uses it as a substitute for sugary snacks.

It doesn't seem to be causing any harm.

John is on day 18 of not smoking analogs. I'm on day 18 of not biting my finger nails. My mom said I started biting my fingernails at the age of 2. I must have been one heck of a nervous child. 30 years later, this is the only thing that has kept me from putting my fingers in my mouth. Vaping a nice 0 mg Amaretto right now.

Haha. JohnnyVsgirl. You made me laugh sooo hard.
Guess when I stopped biting my nails? Yep. Age 14, the exact time I started smoking. Oye. We're just what my gramma would call "nervous folks".
Vape on.

yeah the entire concept sounds weird but my fiance and I are in a similar situation, and I know a few others who are too

I have never been a huge smoker to begin with, hell one or two cigarettes a YEAR was my limit, mostly I smoked because I like the air of class that comes with using a long stem cigarette holder, when I discovered e-cigs and the fact that you can get them with 0% nic level that was perfect for me, can use my holder, and I can 'smoke' more often and do so PURELY for the flavour and not for the addiction (which I luckily never had) my fiance is a non-smoker and after hearing about and trying my e-cig he's seriously looking into an e-cigar and/or an e-pipe as something to "sit back with a good book and a glass of scotch at the end of the day" with

I'm encouraging him in this endeavour if just for the hope that he wears a hugh hefner style robe while doing so lol

i got my better half vaping last night and he has never smoked at all in his life. Got him some 0% juice that was "french toast flavored" and he loooooves it. I agree with the others, use the 0% - I told him the same thing. I never want him to get addicted to nicotine - because if he were to ever lose the "taste" for vaping he may pick up a cigarette and i never want him to do that!! :)
