Still very new to vaping, I drew an interest after seeing a local friend (Rsk0807) sharing pics of all sorts of gizmos and goodies over the last few years. Decided to make the dive into PV a few weeks ago, and couldn't be happer!

I've already started tinkering...

What I've got here is:
Mini 808 eGo 400mah battery
808-510 adapter
SMOKtech shorty 22mm .7ml carto
eGo Cone modified with 2 1/16" holes about 1/8" from the threaded base

I'm going on vacation next week and wanted to take my PV barhopping, but I knew my 1000mah eGo & 650mah eGo twist would be too big/awkward/likely to fall out of pocket. So, with some tinkering, I assembled the aforementioned for a total length of just a tad over 3". It's perfect for what I was looking for.

I also went to a local discount dept store (Ross's) and found a waterproof aluminum wallet for $4.00. Gutted the plastic innards (they were just secured with double sided tape), and now I have a small sleek waterproof case. No worries of sand or water getting into my PV at the beach now! It fits the assembled PV, USB charger & a 6ml bottle of juice perfectly, with room for a 2nd carto/cone assembly or my lanyard. Because they're not secured, I keep a nipple from a prefilled carto on top when not in use, to prevent any seepage if it's shaking around in my pocket.

The Joyetech cone fits tightly over the SMOKtek shorty carto, which doesn't allow any air into the setup. A simple fix of 2 1/16" holes resolved that, and it works very nicely in my newbie opinion. Above all, being so small and black [that's what she said] it'll be very easy to be stealthy with it if I need to be while out bar hopping, etc.

Thoughts? Opinions?

PS: Metal Mafia decal not included. :p

Total cost (for anyone who's curious):
Crystal Mini 808 eGo Vision 400mah kit [also included tank & lanyard & 2 other heads-not pictured](gotvapes Labor Day sale) $19.95
eGo cone, came free with my 2x eGo 1000mah kit (listed individually on gotvapes for $4)
808 to 510 adapter (gotvapes) $3.95
SMOKtech Shorty Clear 22mm 2ohm .7ml Single Coil Carto (gotvapes) $1.95
Waterproof aluminum 'wallet' (Ross's) $4.00
So everything together was about $34... ($30 for me since I already had the cone)

I also should note, even though the case is marketed as 'waterproof' I wouldn't have any confidence if it became fully submerged in water. I'd say it's more or less 'weatherproof'. Will keep sand and water/moisture (like, from a wet pair of swim trunks) out for sure. Which is all I was worried about.

Note #2: Be sure your freshly drilled cone is completely free of metal particles/shavings prior to assembly!
