Hey guys!
New to vaping, after a bit of forum lurking and testing a vape of my friend.

I thought to myself rather than be disappointed by cheap vapes and getting disillusioned or having to buy multiple times, I sprung for the GGTS straight away...

Got a few questions:
1. Do you see any problems with my approach? What should I be mindful of?
2. Anybody ever ordered from e-cigz.co.uk? I ordered on Sunday and haven't heard a word since, even though I asked them if it has shipped or if they have an estimate on when it will ship!? (Understandably, I'm a bit impatient... :p )
3. Will I need a drip-tip to smoke it? I'm pretty clear on the other stuff like batteries and so on. Just don't know if a tip has to be/should be used.

If I don't like it I'm sure I wouldn't have to hard a time selling a GGTS, but really I'm looking to replace analogs with it...

Many greetings!

The GG forum - you can't post there yet. You need 5 non-spammed posts or replies in New Members and an hour wait
The GG

Drip tip is for dripping. I do not know what the GG comes with. Here are the ways to use ecigs

atomizer + cartridge
atomizer + drip tip (only on sealed manual batteries)
cartomizer (stuffed or reservoir or big handmade carto tank)

Many use a drip tip to test juices and vape some occasional juices at home. And cartomizers for the bulk of their vaping of their every day juices.

Keep a polishing cloth handy , to clean it up , after use . Might also want to consider the stealth top , for use with tanks and rebuild able atty's . Great choice as a starter PV., as they tend to hold their value fairly well . That is , as long as they are kept in pristine condition . And welcome to ECF . Are you German or ??? your English , is very good .

I was using stacked 3 volt batts in my copper hex mod. I got the "ultrafire" batts from ebay real cheep. Suddenly the Hex got almost too hot to touch! I managed to unscrew the bottom cap and threw the batts outside before they exploded. Now I only use single 3.7 volt batts from reputable suppliers. The GGTS is much more advanced than my Hex, but beware of ultra cheep bats.

Why thank you, kind sir... ;-) Yes, I'm german, but I spent 3 years of school in the UK as well as watching only UK/US Television... German TV is HORRENDOUS!

I'll have to look into that Stealth top, thanks for that! Is that all I would need to make my GGTS into a GG Stealth?

Yes, that is all you will need. Build up your posts and come join us in the GG subforum, we always answer any questions!!!

A few points for right now..........

Go with 3.7V batts for right now and LR attys, the 510s and 901s (with the rethreader) will rock for dripping and play with the air control ring to see how tight or airy you want your draw, its one of the great features of a GGTS.

Get the UFS when it comes out. After you master the air control on a regular GGTS you will be ready for a tank and the UFS is superior and hard to get so get it when available.

Either use or treat it with kid gloves, its your choice -- but I own them as I believe them a superior vaping machine, damage be damned.......

Be patient! With any mod there will be frustration.:)

That's it for now, see you around!

Yeah, I'll definitely use it! It may be amazingly beautiful (I love functional design) but I bought it to replace analogs, so it sitting in a vitrine won't do me much good... ;-D

I think I ordered batteries to enable 3.7 and 7.4 Volt use, as well as 510 and 901 atties with corresponding restistances...

Is the UFS coming out in a few days a new version? Or just restocking of the current model?

Thanks so much for the warm welcome!

Well, yes and no........its the same thing but I'm not sure if the threads are exactly the same plus, due to popular acclaim, the 901 cap is standard and the mouthpiece is extra instead of vice versa.

I would recommend Ikenvape or Avidvaper attys fwiw, if you're going to own a Cadillac you may as well use premium oil!!! I actually really like 306s with a long drip tip for when I drip..........and others swear by the I06 from Iken....some people like 1.5 or 2.0Ώ but I like 1.8Ώ more........there are just so many possibilities!!!

Ripple has already cleared up any questions you had . So just to add , I have three GG's . One is pristine , the other two get used daily and no longer have any collector value at all .( No engravings left ) But I don't care . They are well engineered and are all mechanical , so nothing to break . And they work like you expect them to .
