Hey all,
Just wanted to share. This month I hit the one year mark. One year free of analogs. I've been a long time lurker of this forum, and I know when I started vaping, one of the biggest questions was the economics of vaping versus smoking.
I decided tonight to crunch the numbers. I've saved every receipt for every vape related purchase I've ever made.
I should mention that I live in New York, where smoking cigarettes is inherently expensive. But, had I continued smoking in the last year, I would have spend $2,612.20. That is 15 cigarettes a day at roughly $.47 a cig.
In the last year I've spend $729.92 on vaping. This includes experimenting with new hardware, blowing chargers, trying different carts, accessories, and trying literally dozens of juices.
I'm pretty excited that I've managed to save $1,882.28 by quitting analogs. I'm equally excited that in the last year I've also smelled nice and felt a lot healthier.
So if your like me, lurking the forms, deciding whether or not you should make the switch, be encouraged. If for no other reason, do it to save money
Take care!
