I have been vaping about 10 months now and have been using an ego one for about 2 months. For the last 10 months I just vaped a peach fuzz flavor from ruthless juice but recently have decided to start branching out and acquiring new tastes. I particularly like creamy desert type flavors especially peach and find myself hitting my ego one 3-4 times really hard to get where I want. My wife has starting using my ego one so I want to upgrade to a modbox tank setup so I can give her my ego one. I am considering the Evic VTC mini 75watt with silo beast sub ohm tank because I want a compact durable setup which will provide heavier and warmer outputs to enjoy my desert flavors. The silobeast looks to have the least amount of exposed glass as I am a server and afraid I will bump into something with my setup in my pocket and break the tank. I don't think I am ready to get into building my own coils yet and I understand that the silo beast tank is adaptable with atlantis and triton coils and the guy at the store recommended getting "clapton" coils because he said it enhances the flavor of desert juices. I am writing this post because I would like to hear other's opinions on this setup especially reasons why they would not prefer either the evic mini vtc or the silobeast tank. Thanks! and all opinions negative, critical, positive, or whatever are welcomed I just want to learn about the different options and maybe someone has an experience with these setups that might cause me to reconsider before I purchase!

Hello and welcome. Ive been running the Evic vtc mini that your looking at for a little while and I am starting to like it a lot. I recommend the Kangertech subtank mini. Its a very versitile beginner's tank. Nickel options for temp control. Clapton options for flavor, and a rebuildable option for later if you wish. Also you can convert it to top fill for convenience.

Thanks for your response... I found a slightly used ipv d2 w/aspire triton sub tank and two batteries for $70 from a guy I met locally thru craigslist... I kinda wanted the Evic VTC mini but also was just ready to grab something and get vaping and I didn't want to pay retail for my original proposed setup (approx $125). Have you ever used the ipv D2? It seems to be comparable to the Evic VTC mini although reviews tend to favor the Evic a little...
