NEWBIE DISCOVERY: How to fill new Cartos with thick E-Juice (Boba etc.) Quickly and Easily

Hi all!

Newbie again here, and I just stumbled on an incredibly easy way to fill new Boge Cartomizers with 100%VG juice (I was so excited about my discovery that I had to share it immediately!)

Here it is:

Step 1: Take a new boge cartomizer and take off the top condom (The one on the mouthpiece side)
Step 2: Take off the little white rubber mouthpiece with a bent paper clip
Step 3: Leave the bottom condom on, as well as the little rubber nipple that slips into, and seals the 510 Connector (Which is located inside the bottom condom)
Step 4: Drip juice over the white filler material (It will just sit on top without soaking in) Don't fill it all the way to the top, fill it halfway to the brim approximately
Step 5: Here's the kicker: Carefully bring the cartomizer up to your lips, create a tight seal around it with your lips
(Carefully hold it in a vertical position so that you don't drip juice into your mouth)
And SUCK hard!

Dont ask me why, or how, but when you do this, the juice is drawn quickly into the filler! I dont understand the
physics, but it works like a charm. Simple and FAST!
Step 6: Repeat step 5 until the carto is full.

I don't know if someone has discovered this procedure before, but I have not seen it mentioned.
I discovered it 5 minutes ago trying to get Bobas Bounty into a new Boge LR. First time trying Bobas, I like it!

Anyway, hope this helps other impatient vapers!

hmm...i think most people use the rubber piece and fill it about 3/4 full push the carto into the rubber piece .....or a needle ? i dont think im going to be sucking on the carto lol

Thanks I've also done it that way using an Oral Med Dispenser from Walmart for $2.00. The cone that comes with the syringe fits perfectly over the carto.

Never tried it that way, but I usually just do the condom trick the first way, and then drip anytime I'm filling it up!

...doing so, creates a vacuum...the air in the filler goes out with the vacuum...the liquid replaces the displaced air...voila, a filled carto...for high VG liquids, I usually just use a syringe....................

Guess you're sorta like the person that ate the first strawberry! I mean, suck on it??? But, yeah, the only give would be the bottom condom, which would create a vacuum that would pull down into the Carto. Nice job! : )

Ha I was thinking the same thing. I don't even want to know what gave you the idea to put your mouth on it and of all things, suck.. Ha but whatever works for you!
I use the Ressurector cartos which hold about twice as much juice as a Boge and use a syringe to fill them. It works well and doesn't require the use of your mouth in any way, but hey, like I said, whatever works for you

I don't know why I thought of trying that, but my intuition told me it might work, and it did thanks for explaining the physics madjack and paporplas.

I dont find doing it unpleasant at all - I did get a droplet of juice on my lip once, but it was AVE's hype and didn't taste half bad. It does sound pretty funny I admit, but we all suck on cartomizers quite a bit anyway

I found something similar. I don't quite fill it up that much at one time, but if I wanna settle it down to the bottom of the cart, i stick my finger over the hole in the bottom and do the same thing. If the top of the wool looks dry again, i top off.

Regarding getting it on your tongue:
It doesn't hurt that I have a high tolerance to nicotine either. Know your body's limits when dealing with nic juice and err on the side of safety. I also keep tissues around all the time and if i get a bit of juice of my tongue I spit it in the tissue and dispose properly.

Personally, when I started drip filling my carts, I just pulled off the rubber mouth thing and left it off. Then as i vaped, I noticed the top would go dry first, which made me realize how the juice was flowing thru the cart as I drew.

Not liking the taste of anologs is not uncommon at all! I had a cigarette tonight and it tasted terrible(made it a little less than halfway through).

I wl try this method out tomorrow as I strictly vape 100% VG juice(alien visions being my favorite).

I prefer high VG juices as well so I may give this a try but with the walmart syringe first I think. I had been doing the condom fill/taryn spin and that has worked well so far but I like this technique. Quick question.... Is this for the initial fill or can I do it each time I need to refill the carto?

I only find it necessary to use this method for the initial fill, because when the carto is new, the fill material does not readily take up the e juice.

After the initial fill, I frequently top off by removing the white mouthpiece, and dripping 3 - 4 drops on top of the filler (I find this helps extend carto life (Never gets dry, so slimmer chance of burning). After the initial fill, the filler sucks up the juice more readily, so I don't find it necessary to use the "suction method."

But if you use your cartomizer for a long time in between top offs, the suction method would probably be a good way to refill it quickly I think. The nice thing about the method is that you don't need any tools to do the job.

Hi everyone,

Am new to the site although have browsed it quite a lot. Been vaping for about year this time around (had a lapse of a year prior to another year on the ecigs). Been using Boges for the whole of this recent session and have had mixed experiences of filling them. The needle method certainly works very well, but is not appropriate for work or that convenient for home most of the time! The condom method has been hit and miss for me - sometimes it works great and sometimes the carto just never takes hold and ends up burning out quickly.

I've just tried this method for the first time however, and whilst I may need a bit of practice to tweek it, I must say that it's mess free, no liquid gets in your mouth and it is seemingly holding a good 20-25 drops of liquid from the offset with no need to rest and let liquid soak through for ages/overnight.

Will report back, but I may become quite a fan of this method!
