Newbie DIY questions.. Thanks!

hey all, first post.. Looking for some pointers. My hubby and I are fairly new to the e-cig world, but after both having been long time smokers we've quit thanks to them!
We've been reading up and have ordered some pg/vg and a handful of favors, but aren't getting the results we had hoped, favors are kinda crappy..not like what we've purchased from a local shop.. So the big question is, where is a good place to buy the pg/vg and some quality flavors for DIY?? Thanks!

There is a learning curve for sure but if your serious about it the rewards are worth the effort.

Tastes kinda chemical-ish.. not very smooth clean taste like our store bought flavors.. I bought the pg/vg base from ecig.com and the flavors from healthcabin.. first time ordering stuff just went for what looked reasonably priced.

This calculator might be of some help to you in mixing ingredients. Also what you mix up you have to consider "new". It has not had time to steep. Most ejuice purchased from internet vendors has had at least two weeks time to sit in the bottle undisturbed. Definitely read the DIY thread and get the basics.

Quick tip... start very low on flavoring percentage, like 3% or so. Some flavorings will be good at that percentage and others will require a little more, but too much flavoring can completely ruin a mix. I've found that mixing in too much flavoring can sometimes result in a chemical like taste.
