Newbie dripping question

I just received my new DSE901b, and while I am really happy with it I am not really enjoying the taste of the pre-filled normal flavored carts. I also ordered 4 4-ml bottles of juice for topping off carts, and one of them was banana. Since I had ordered a spare atomizer, and did not have any empty carts, I figured I would drip a little banana on the spare atomizer. It tasted wonderful .
My question however is about the quantity I should be using when dripping. I really don't want to burn out my new atomizer, by not keeping it wet enough, but I don't want to use any more of my yummy banana liquid than I need either.
When dripping, do I just use a drop or two and puff till it doesn't produce vapor, or do I need to add a drop every few puffs? Thanks for any advice, everyone here has already helped me out a ton even though this is my first post.

Welcome to the forum Dluv from someone else in the middle of nowhere.

I don't drip that often but on occasion i do. You only need use 1 - 2 drops at a time. I generally try to drop it right on top of the little arch one at a time and watch it soak in. Most people on here think that is around one analog worth of smoke and I'd have to agree.
Don't keep vaping untill the smoke disappears otherwise you stand a chance of drying out the atomizer too much and maybe burning it out.
Once the vapor produced begins to reduce you add more drops. If you are wanting to monitor how much you are vaping that would be a good time to put it down for a while. When you pick it up again add another few drops and away you go.

I'm interested in trying out a good banana juice. Sounds like that one is ok.

Obviously I don't have a lot to compare it to since the only other thing I have tried is what came in my carts. But I love it. It kinda tastes like banana laffy taffy. I got it from The Smokeless shop.
I gotta say so far I am very impressed with my first e-cig purchase experience. I wish I had enough posts to post in the review section so I could give the smokeless shop a good review. I really appreciated the fact that she charged the batteries up for me before she sent them out. I was able to swing by my local post office this morning and enjoy my new e-cig on the drive to work.
Thanks for the tips. I don't plan on dripping much but until I get some empty carts I will have to so I can enjoy my banana.

I got my starter kit from Katy also. Definitely a good deal and a good person to do business with.

If you can use up a ready filled cart you could pull the stuffing out, wash it out in some warm water, let it dry and reuse it. If you really don't like the taste of the carts then pull the stuffing out. Preferably using tweezers or wearing gloves. Squeeze it out, wash, rinse out good let dry then use it like a refillable.

I havn't started dripping, nor do I plan to. I just want to refill the carts and use them like that. Dripping is too much of a hassle and too cumbersome of a process.

I drip all the time, but lately have been using the refill carts method as well. For dripping, do 2-3 drops from the eyedropper max. Any more could flood the atomizer, and cause it to leak back into the battery. Over dripping the liquid can cause too many problems to list, so try to keep it short, and often.

I actually did clean out a cartridge, washed it, and refilled it. It is working nicely now. I am starting to get used to the nicotine flavors as well. I have been topping off one of my carts with 555 juice, and am starting to like the taste. The dripping worked out nicely until I got a cartridge ready. Thanks for the tips.
