I have a quick question bout my DSE 801 im satisfied with my e cig but then I was just wondering when I put 7-10 drops directly in the atomizer it lasts only around 10 puffs!! isn't that fast. And when i drip into my carts around 20 drops of e juice it wont last in 30 puffs.. Is there a problem with my e cig? or really needs constant dripping?

I wouldn't put 7-10 drops in the atomizer (but I don't have an 801). Most attys you're supposed to put in 2-3 then 1 or 2 as needed. A cart w/ 20 drops should last more than 30 drags unless the cart isn't wicking well. Some models don't empty their carts well. Must be huge carts. Most carts only hold about 1/2 ml. But the top of the stuffing may get dry after a couple of cigs worth of drags and then you need to top off the cart (cart is the cart you push on the atomizer)

Try cartomizers aka cartos? Or is that what you mean you are using?
801 BOGE SOFT CAP Blank Cartomizers

I use the same brand on my 510. Fill one totally to start. I hold a tissue on the threaded end, clean up any drips afterwards then blow in the threaded end to clear the air channel. Then I use a bit of tissue to clean up any juice pooled above the stuffing. On first fil let it sit for a while on different side to make sure the juice spreads to every bit of stuffing so you don't singe it. Then just keep it damp and you should be able to get 4-7 days use or more out of one.

ok dormouse gotcha.. nweiz thank you for the tips!! really appreciate it.. I learned a lot in my stay hir.. I learned that dripping is bad on auto batteries and its ok on manual batteries.. I always drip directly on the atty by the way!! and it will mess up my batts.. whew.. gotta buy a manual battery for that!! ^_^ thank you!!!

Have a follow up question..Can i dewick/debridge a 801 atty? cuz i found in youtube and some posts here that u can do it in 510's?

Ah the 801 my old friend. The kit I started on :) Dripping is definetly the way to go, and yes you are going to be doing it fairly constantly, however that is balanced out in the time saved from fussing with carts and cart mods etc. Typically 3-4 drops on a dry atty will last for the length of a cigarette, depending on the juice. If you are priming a new atty or have just blown one out ot change flavors, 5-7 to start is a good number. Loved the 801s the flavor seemed to pop more and were a cooler vape than a 510.

You can pull the bridge, but I will be completely honest with you, in my experiments with pulling the bridge one atty stopped working entirely right off the bat; another had a significantly lower life span; the next one died after I cleaned it. I had a total of 1 that I pulled the bridge on that lasted a decent amount of time. As far as to the benefits, nothing spectacular will change from my experience. You are fine leaving it in there tbh.

oh.. so you are saying that dewicking/debridging by 801's not favorable? I should just use manual batteries and drip through it?

For myself, no debridging was not favorable, others are welcome to chime in with their experience of course. I honestly saw no difference other than a shorter life span hehe. :) Also the same with a 510 but I vape at high voltage also and with no bridge that is like frying bacon, hot stuff kept leaping off the coils onto face and tongue (Ouch!).

I mostly only use 801 type attys and cartos BUT only on 5 volt or variable volt PV's. I find the 801 on 3.7 volt PV's just too light/cool of a throat hit. For dripping, which is all I do with an atty, I prefer the BE112 (801 type) atty over the DSE801. It has a lower bridge and vapes more consistently to me. There is also the Joye 302 which is their 801 atty.

I still use some of my 801s at 5v but the ones I debridged are junk at any voltage. They just became leaky and stopped being the good flavor and vapor producers they were before debridging. YMMV

I'm using IKEN 801 shorties on my FistPack at 4.6v and love it........ The DSE's were good too but I like the shorter tube with choices of High or Low resistances.

I am assuming the HV 801, or is it the 2.5 Ohm?
I started vaping with 808/901's. Switched to 801's and never looked back except to use up my old cartos.
Personally, I do not like anything about the 510/306 atty's. Too hot, they spit juice, poor flavor.
The 801/BE112's only downfall is the very stiff draw, IMHO. I'm starting to look like Marty Feldman from dragging so hard. I WILL NOT CALL IT SUCKING. :)

I use the 2.5 Ohm shorty at that setting and enjoy it. I need to keep it wet, but it workd well for me with that setting. I also like the tighter draw it gives me on my particular device (the airy vape has been one thing I've always not enjoyed about vaping with others, but this (to me) is more the feel of the pull I'd get from a cigarette)

Now if I could just find a good delrin whistle drip tip for it I'd be in heaven, because the base of the stock ones that come with are too flimsy I find, and I'll often lose the tip.

That could be a battery problem or the connector on your PV. I use the shorty 801's from IKENVAPE (3.0 Ohm) and the BE112's and the draw is nice and easy but I only use them on 5 volt and variable volt PV's.

I believe I got my delrin from either nhaler or madvapes for the 801.
