Newbie E-Liquid flavours

Hi all,
forgive me I'm sure this kind of question has been asked zillions of times, I have tried to do some searching, but not had much luck so far.

I'm compiling a shopping list of samples to buy this week of flavours, since money is tight I don't want to buy loads that I'm going to hate.
i know that taste is very subjective and my taste buds will change soon with quitting analogs, but if you could offer some advice I would appreciate it.

I know there are hundreds of flavours out there and that's great, but the majority of them are desserts or fruits. I have a sweet tooth as much as the next lady, but not all day every day.

So far I've tried cherry juice, and that's lovely, but too sweet to Vape for longer than an hour,
chocolate caramel, which is just nasty, actually not sweet at all.
and USA mix for a tobacco one, which is my all day Vape which I love, but even that is sweet.

So I'm looking for about 5 samples, which are a good range for a newbie to try.
One of them will probably be a menthol of some kind, but again, even with analogs, I would never have more than one menthol.

The only other tobacco type I've tried was HS desire, which I found was a little too "manly"

Any tips at all?

Welcome to the wonderful world of vaping. When my husband introduced me to vaping, I was the same way. I dont know how he vapes the sweeter flavors all of the time.

For a good range of samples without spending alot of money, check out vapedudes. They have a coupon code for a free bottle of juice, the code is FBFREE. They only accept 15 a day, so if it doesnt work, try another day. They also have a code that will give you 40% off an entire order and you can use it on the same order as the free one. They sell a 5 bottle and 10 bottle package which saves you about $1 a bottle, so if you get the free bottle and then a 5 bottle package, you will pay about $18 for 6, 10ml bottles. My personal favorites in a wide range are: watermelon drip, spearmint, buttery nipple, moca java drizzle, pina colada, banana cream pie. They have a lot of flavors that I like, but those are some of my favorites. Also, I always get the extra flavor option.

Hope this helps

When I first started, I was totally hooked on my own mix of chocolate, vanilla, malt with a bit of cinnamon bun! It tasted SO much better than smoking! I was having a blast! Eventually, my tastes went a bit more to fruity stuff, like grape, fruit punch, watermelon, juicy fruit gum, etc. Then, I decided to give RY4 a try. It seems to be a very popular flavor. Tobacco with vanilla and caramel. I thought that I would eventually have to give this one a try to see what all the fuss was about. I had gotten some in a PIF treasure Chest, so I loaded up a new carto. WoW! Was I surprised! I love it and have been vaping it pretty much all the time since. I still mix it up a bit, but definitely keep going back to the ry4!

I used to get a headache when I smoked too much menthol. I did enjoy one once in a while, though. Next, I think I want to try some more of the fruity menthol mixes that are very popular. I did get a sample of one, but it was a bit too perfumey for me... I also have some black and mild, but that is definitely an acquired taste, much more "manly." Kinda like a cigar taste, very strong...

Good luck and don't give up! Eventually, you will find many that you like. Even if it's not for all day. I think most people vape more than one liquid throughout the day, or find that their tastes change over time. Also, the flavors change over time, the longer they sit in the bottle. They call it steeping!

I ordered quite a few samples from a few ejuice vendors and have found a few that are fast becoming my favourites. Maple Leaf Vapes makes an excellent Green Apple and Joozy Fruit (tastes just like the gum) as well as some good tobacco flavours (Canadian Blend and Applewood are my faves). Jugheads makes a fantastic Kofee Supreme and I quite like the Jokesmoke (mild tobacco).

Dk is one of my favorites right now. To keep it interesting I will add some maple rum to the mix. After dinner I like after eight mint that a friend of mine mixed up for me. When I drink I like a strong ry4. So much fun I only have a couple of regular flavors, but I mix my own so it is easy to keep it changing.

Happy vaping

Ellen, one of my favourites is Black Cat from Vape Escape, it's a tobacco flavour with hints of vanilla & liquorice.

I also really like several of the tobacco flavour juices from Paradise Vapes (benson & Fences, LnB & Drum especially) & have heard their menthols are good as well -

Welcome, Ellen!

Just FIY, some juices (if made to order) will mellow and change, usually for the better, with days or weeks of steeping. So if you don't like a juice, put it in a dark place, shake it occasionally, and revisit it later.

That said: When I first started I had no idea what I'd enjoy vaping so after browsing here for a while, I bought quite a few juices in different categories. Tobacco, bakery, candy, chocolate, coffee, drinks, mint, etc. I bought small amounts so the initial outlay wasn't a lot...also I've converted a couple of people I know to vaping so juices rarely go to waste. But there's definitely a trial and error phase - I don't have tons of money to spend either but even with my experimenting I'm still ahead, compared to smoking.

I found that what I enjoyed eating or drinking didn't necessarily translate to a satisfying vape.
That my tastes are still evolving.
That some juice is "meh" or "yuck" at first, but I love it a few weeks later.
That many juices can be salvaged by mixing - eg an RY4 (tobacco) flavor I didn't care for turned out excellent with Caramel Candy juice added.
I strongly dislike any hint of mint or menthol, even though I like it to eat or drink.
That nicotine level affects my opinion (I need high nic, 24-30 mg, and anything that isn't high enough is unsatisfying...I was a heavy smoker.)

And finally: since taste is so very, very subjective what multiple people report loving on this forum or in reviews, may taste awful to me. :)
