Hi all,

After a quite of bit of reading I think I'm ready to take the plunge. I'm still somewhat confused when it comes to the right choice of equipement (I'm still reading but there is so much info!) and a little but unsure whether this will work or not so any advice, tip or encouragement is more than welcome! There is however a piece of information I'm missing: where can I buy eGo in Canada? There is a thread where people ask for a list of suppliers but I can't post there since I'm a newbie. I would greatly appreciate if someone from Canada could PM me the list.

Thanks!

Greetings fellow newbie and Canuck! I'll tell you, I've lurked around this forum for quite a bit before posting, and if you read through a number of threads over in the Canada forum you'll find the names of a number of different shops, so armed with that and google, you'll find an ego shipped out of Canada in no time. Having said that, there are some great youtube videos available on different equipment too that really help. GrimmGreen has some great videos and a really entertaining fellow to boot.

I'm vaping on a Joyetech 510 right now, waiting for my ego-vv batts and tank to show up. I use the 510 with a driptip and really enjoy it (I haven't had a analogue smoke in a few days), but the batteries don't last worth squat. I'd also suggest finding some decent juice - it might take some experimenting until you find something you like, but if you're looking to drop cigs, you'll need a few juice flavours you can live with.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the warm welcome and thanks for the tips! I found some names and Google did the rest. I'm heading to YouTube now!

Cheers!

This site is amazing! All the info aside I barely introduced myself and there's a dozen of people welcoming me! Thanks guys!

I sure thought I'm the only one. I know quite a few smoker but I have never seen anyone vapeing. I'd appreciate if you could PM me the name of your supplier. If I find anything I'll be glad to return the favor. So far I can only tell you where to buy kitchen cabinets, tires and such but its not very interesting for this forum.

Thanks for the kijiji hint, I'l check it out as well.

I have a question that is probably asked a million times: how hard it is to switch to e-cigs and do they resemble to the real thing? I tried the nicorette cigarette emulation and I couldn't detect no flavor no smell no anything, I could just as well be sucking on plumbing pipe.

Cheers!

If you want a good setup for as cheap as possible, here you go:

eGo Riva 650 or 1100mAh Black w/gold band or Stainless

Add 5 of these

eGo Vision Star Dust SR or LR

And you're all set for $75. Great company and fast shipping. Of course you'll need to get some juice too.

Finally a straight answer! Thanks!
Should I take Low or Standard resistance? I couldn't find any juice on the site (there is an empty page when I click on e-liquids". Do you have a suggestion for juice as well? I rely appreciate your answer very much!
