Hi there! My name is Anna. Noobie from the west side of Canada. I've been interested in buying an e-cig for a while now but i'm not really too sure what to buy yet. I've tried those disposable ones, but it didn't really satisfy me. Lack of vapour, throat hit and flavour is what I would say was the issue. I've been doing my research and the Ego-C twist has caught my attention. I hookah and smoke cigarettes quite a bit but the hassle of setting up the hookah and the negative side effect of smoking cigarettes has been convincing me to change my ways.

I'm still a bit confused with all this so any help would be nice. I'm looking to get a Ego-C twist but i don't know what else to get with it. I smoke a lot when i drive or when i don't do anything and i want to cut it down/quit. If the vaping community has a solution for that, then my ear are open.

Also, a place to buy in Canada would be nice too. :)

Cheers,
Anna

Hello Anna and welcome!

You're gonna get a lot of friendly advice here!

I started with an ego-c as well and it served me well getting off cigarettes. They are easy to use, ok on the flavour and throat hit. Depending on the battery (650, 1000 mah, etc) and your smoking habit, you can find one that suits your needs.

You could get more specific advice if you mention what kind of device you are looking for (portable, long battery life, easy to use, etc) and your smoking habits (how often, how many, etc). You mentioned that you want to cut down/quit which is great!

Anyways, don't get overwhelmed by the choices people are going to recommend, take your time and ask questions :)

Last suggestion is to post a couple more till you get to 5 and then check out the Canadian sub-forum. From there, you can ask for the list of Canadian vendors (juice and hardware) if you want to get started faster (I think there are a couple of bricks and mortar stores in your neck of the woods).

Good luck!

Hi, I'm fairly new to vaping. I started with an eGo-C Twist since I wanted variable voltage at an affordable price. I also figured that they should be pretty reliable since there's no fancy LCD screen or buttons to change things, just a little dial on the bottom of the battery. At the time I couldn't afford more than 1 battery and some sort of tank to start. I got a ViVi Nova and have no real complaints about that either. The Nova is easy to clean and easy to fill. I'm using the same Nova I bought around 4-5 months ago and its my only tank. craving more nicotine. I'm using the 1000mAh version and found that towards the end of the night the battery would end up dying on me. I'd have to charge it for a bit, vape a bit to get my fix, then plug it back into the charger, and keep pulling it out again when I wanted to vape more. Needless to say, I abused the crap out of my first twist and have recently bought another one so I can alternate. My first Twist's battery life has diminished considerably but it has taken a lot of abuse. I'm sure if I had started with 2 they'd both be perfectly healthy. You can get away with vaping off one twist though, but expect to want a second a few months down the line.

TL;DR.

I'm happy with my eGo-C Twists. ViVi Nova is a great starter tank.

I quit smoking for 4 months now on 0-nic. 0-nic/0 TH is torture but the pride in quitting analogs keeps me going. I vape more than I smoked when i drive...I think its the novelty in being able to puff with the windows rolled up. I like the Vivi on my Ego's as well. A filled Vivi should last you a 30min drive of chain vaping. Look for Joyetech Ego hardware if you plan to go that route. I've tried cheaper knock-offs that died on me after two months.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

You cant go wrong with a twist for a starter PV. I did see you have 5 posts so you can check out the vendors, just be careful because when I shop the vendors I'm like a kid in a candy store

I haven't even bought anything but i'm already drooling right now.

I actually found VaporGeek, they're located really close to where i live and hopefully i can do i pick up from them to save some shipping and time. I'm not too sure where to get good eliquid tho.

I think i will be going with the eGo Twist with a Vivi Nova.

Hey Anna I am new too. My boss bought all the smokers at my work the ego-c twist a few months ago and I quit smoking within a month of using it. I had to commit to it though!!! I was switching between cigarettes and my ecig but eventually I found I didn't really have a desire to smoke a cigarette after I lit it and I would pass it off to my bf (who is still smoking after I bought him an ecab ) so I decided to go all in and just bring my ecig with me to work one day and I haven't looked back at smoking cigarettes again.

I have tried a the ego-c twist (600mah), ecab and a knock off ego (because I broke my original c-twist battery). I found that the ego-c twist is by far the best and most powerful at delivering the hit I needed to feel satisfied so I would highly recommend to start. I like that it is adjustable because sometimes different juices get a funny taste if you run them too hot. I also use a CE4 or a Kanger Clearomizer I haven't really looked into any other options yet so I can't help you there.

Anyways, if you are in western Canada (like myself) I came across a new site Vonka Vapours but I haven't tried anything yet but I will when I need a refill!!

HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE!

They dont! NOOOO! that's too bad. I'm pretty much next door to them/ a couple blocks away from the address they have on their website.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE!!!

I know!! I felt the same way I was desperate for my new battery but had to wait. I am not around the corner or anything but still would have been cool to pickup instead of waiting.

I understand though... anyone selling nic probably wants to remain anonymous.

I got an email back. And Lae said she might do it sometime in March! The ecig gods have blessed us.
