Ok, so Ive been vaping for about 2 months now. Have been using an ego twist setup that i started with. I love it, its very simple to use but inconvenient when my little battery light starts flashing telling me i have to put it on the charger. So I need a backup. Problem is that Im overwhelmed by all of the different devices available. I want something a little more advanced than my twist, but nothing too complicated, under $100. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

My current suggestion would be the SiD. I really like this cheaper version of the ZMAX. You can put the whole kit together for around $80 and it will be a great step up. Not knowing the current charge is probably the main reason I don't use my twist more often. A spare Twist or two would also solve your problem.

The cheapest would be a Vamo. More advanced, still variable voltage but also variable wattage. However, it is bigger then the twist. But to get more advanced, you have to go bigger.

Good deal on them here: http://.........blogspot.com/2013/05/vamo-nicore-charger-2-panasonic-18650.html

You have to go to the bottom and click the "Where" link. Then enter the coupon code at check out.

I agree with Azmo, The cheapest is a Vamo, but I will say I love my Lavatube V2. However a Lavatube V2 device runs around $80 with out a battery. So by the time you get a battery, charger, and tank you will be busting your budget. More info on the Lavatube can be found at their website E-Cigarette | Electronic Cigarette | Volcano E-Cig

Good luck!

When i had this same thought over a year ago.
I grabbed my Credit Card and said man up. (this is what I told myself LOL)

I bought my Provari Mini and all I Can say is its the best thing I ever did
Its a few extra bucks I would have wasted probably trying useless crap

I do not regret it in any way :2cool:

I'm using the suggestions in this here post for myself, being that I am in the same boat. I love my little eGos, since I love how they look with a bigger tank on top and they are quite pocketable when I going out at night.

But yeah, I have tried other setups and loved them so I'll have to revisit some of these fine suggestions when I am looking for a big batty.

I have come to the conclusion that sometimes with these devices, less can be more. I've had a Vamo for several months now and love it, but decided to pick up a Bolt several weeks ago. I've been trying to stay on the less expensive side of things since I have a bad habit of losing things. LOL! I am really digging the Bolt because it really simple, relatively tough, and since it's an unregulated mod I can build low resistance coils for my RBA.

To all Looking to upgrade, and do so reasonably inexpensively. I just picked up a Sigelei Zmax Telescope,2 batteries and some other bobbles for just under $77(with coupon) as a backup to my everyday mod. From here> Zmax - Sigelei I have been vaping for almost 3 years(2yrs 8months) and have a varied assortment from my first rn4081 through the 510, ego, twist and many custom hand built vv mods. I personally like the feature set, the display and the price. If it turns into an everyday mod we will see, but I personally like the form factor as well as the fact that it is stainless and will accept pretty much any size 18mm round battery. Just thought that it should be brought to the table as a very reasonable option under the $100 mark. For what its worth, I paid more than that for my first unit(rn4081) which was a single mini battery, a single atomizer and five whole refill cartridges.........
