Currently I have a single joyetech eGo Twist 1100, and I really need a backup. Currently I'm using V2 cigs and a joyetech eRoll kit when my Twist is recharging. Would it be wise to simply get a matching joyetech or is there something better? If there's something better, can I use it with my current charger or would I need a new charger? Eventually I might upgrade to a Provari, Vamo, Lambo, etc..., but for now I simply want a backup Twist style battery. I don't mind paying more for higher quality, and I am concerned about the threading, especially. My decision will not be based on getting the cheapest backup, and I would be fine getting an identical Twist from Joyetech if that would be a wise decision.

Thoughts? Thanks!

Originally I got two of the same color / 900 mah twists. Which is just fine. As one seems to last me about 9/10 of my day. However, I kinda wish now that I got them in different colors because I've mixed them up and become unsure of which one is almost spent.

I've now ordered backups of my backups in different colors so if I've been puffing on my stainless one all day I know to grab the purple one when I run out at night, etc.

It is my understanding that the ego charger that came with your twist will work with all the others, as long as they are "ego threaded". It is not redundant or wrong in any way to get a back-up Ego Twist.

The benefit of trying one of the other similar products has been mostly the knurled twist knob and easier to read writing and sometimes a bit cheaper. Some also have a slightly fatter battery with more mAh, instead of being so tall.

I suggest checking out Discount Vapers. He has a few varieties and tells you which ones are "clones" with no brand name.

Nothing wrong with staying with JoyE though. They have had an excellent reputation in the industry for years.

Get another Twist - and just a suggestion, - always have a backup charger. Nothing worse than two fine PV's and no way to charge them!

Yup. Back up charger, 2nd twist batt, and a crap ton of tips. System will work great...only issue I had really (and why I bought a provari and dbox clearomizer) was how fragile the things were...lots of broken batteries and tops (my fault).

You may want to consider one of the smaller twist batteries. I've seen them in 400 mah and they should give you plenty of time to charge the larger one. Plus, with a carto, it would make a nice stealth device if you're into that kind of thing. I use an eroll when I'm out and a 1000 twist at home
