I cannot wait quit digital cigs!!

But I am totally lost with all the lingo, even with research, so hopefully someone here can help!

I am a Newport Menthol King smoker of 20+ years. (pack a day)

I like the style/size of the following: (just a personal prefenence from my investigation)
Vapor4Life- Electronic Cigarette: Vapor King Ultimate Auto Starter Kit

-Battery recharging is not an issue to me as I am near a PC for at least 18 hrs a day.(including sleeping)
-Normal looking PV(white) would be a plus (although not a necessity)
-I would "love" to find a "juice/cart"(I do not even know if I am using the correct terminology) comparable to Newports(high on the priority scale!!!)
-Willing to spend around $100-$200 (to start, no need for a tank, I want to try this ecig thing out 1st) (also if you have any idea how much savings on digital vs ecig per month at the level I am describing; you'll be appreciated!)

Any suggestions to help me me out are VERY APPRECIATED!

Thank YOU in advance!

Buy a "KR808D-1 starter kit" with white automatic batteries and white cartomizers. Buy some different menthol juices. As a 20+ year analog user, you should start with 24mg nicotine strength. It is better to start too high and need to cut down rather than resort back to analogs. Assume that you will never get the flavor perfect, but also know that you won't care. I was a menthol analog user, but I am finding the flavor to be less and less of a big deal. As a heads up, there are generally 3 kinds of menthol juice; mellow and tobacco-y or super freezing mint or super sweet candycane mint. I like the super freezing, but most menthol smokers usually give up menthol or go mellow tobacco-y. To be honest, all 3 worked fine when I started vaping, but I eventually picked a favorite. It is more important to get a PV (Personal Vaporizer) you like and get the nic strength right. After that, it is all fun and games. Who knows, you may find the tuna flavor to be your new favorite ;-)

edit: the Vapor King is a KR808D-1 (It has just been rebranded).

Hi - I recommend manual batteries. Most people here use and recommend manual batteries. The KR8 manuals and autos have an open hole on the end but the autos have a drag sensor in there and that can be killed or disabled by juice leaks into the battery. You would need to be extra careful when you've added juice to a carto to make sure it's not going to leak out the bottom ontot he end of the battery. I have manual Vapor4Life and I am super careful about adding juice and I still sometimes get some dripped juice out the bottom of the carto.

You really DO NOT want anything that looks like a cigarette.

As I'm sure you know, nonsmokers hate cigarettes and the last thing you want is for someone to think your smoking a cigarette when you're not. You can get a two piece (definitely get a manual battery) just don't get a color that looks like a cig. I have an ego and no one ever mistakes that for a cigarette.

I was a 20+ year Newport Smoker as well. I quit with the eGo from Liberty Flights (Riva is 29.99). Manual battery, you control the draw. Long life, 8+ hours with a battery, great TH.

I got Nuport juice from nhaler. It's the 24 mg. nhale/xhale juice.

I'm sorry, I didn't notice the link you posted, just saw the word newport and read 'looks like a cigarette'

The V4L kit you posted the link for is great. I'd recommend getting the XL manual batteries though. They have tons of fun colors and you can buy prefilled cartomizers or blank cartomizers that you fill yourself in lots of great colors.

Sign up for their newsletter, they have great discounts.

The part of Canada that doesn't get enuf Snow :(
Welcome skilow you've already got some good advice just want resuggest get a manual battery. It seems like more of a hassle at first but they are so much less of a hassle in the long run. I just about didn't try ecigs again because the auto batteries were so finicky best of luck to you

You did choose a good one - the most popular 2-piece threading, plenty of blank cartos available too

Buy eliquid too - you don't have to buy it there but buy it some at the same time. You'll be adding liquid to cartos unless you are rich and can afford to throw out a couple per day.

Re lingo
3-piece ecig = battery + atomizer + push-on cartridge aka cart
2 piece ecig = battery + screw-on cartomizer aka carto (a combined disposable atomizer+cart)

Some 2-piece sellers like Vapor4Life call the cartos "carts" but here we call them cartos
