Hello,
I have been looking up information on ecigs, and am still looking up information, but I would like to ask you what your recommendation would be.

I would like to know the models and the website to look for them at would be great too.

I am looking for the following
ecig
I would like to be able to refill my own so I won't have to buy new carts all the time
I would like at least a medium throat hit, maybe more
I don't really mind manual or auto
Durability is key
I don't want to have to refill or recharge very often
Pen style would be okay, but I'd rather not have something bulky

Also, I'd like to order two of them, one for me and one for my mom. My mom has been smoking for quite a while, and I'd like to get her to stop smoking.

Also, I'd like to order some ejuice, and anything else you can think of. I'll answer any other questions needed. Thank you!

I would suggest getting a 510. The only downside is that battery life is not that good. You could get a PCC and then you would always have a battery charging. For performance the 510 is great. You can get a starter kit w/ a PCC for about $60 at cignot. $35 without the PCC.

For e-liquid I would suggest rockymountainvapor, vapor4life, or nhaler.

I did a ton of research and decided to go with Cignot they were as cheap as you can find anywhere and super fast. The 510 seems easy enough for me and seems like it meets most of your requirements. I would buy two kits so you would have four full e-cigs that way you have one battery in the charger and one you're using. buy some extra juice and you would still be way under 100 bucks. Each kit is $35 and if you spend over $50 it's free shipping.

Good Luck.

Luckily, i hoped on the bandwagon around here, the research was already done by a friend of mine. but we all went with Vapor4life. im not disappointed at all!, nice vape flavors the atty lasted all day with a full charge at bedtime. I was VERY unsure of how i would feel about it, ive been smoking since i was 14 so the thought of change didnt sit well with me. i thought the V4L was a perfect transition! I wish you luck!

I'd go with a 510 cos that's what I have :D But other PVs are laso good it just depends what you want. There is a great sticky here by DonDaboomvape The ECF Library - E-Cigarette Forum showing what htey all look like nad TONS of other essential info.
juices: too many to mention. E-Liquid Reviews - E-Cigarette Forum is good to trawl thru as is ECF Approved Suppliers - E-Cigarette Forum
Persoanlly I use Tasty Vapor, DIYFlavorshack and Ms T Bakery Essentials (Ms Ts Bakery Essentials) as I have found them to be wonderful Thers a lso a new kid on the block E-Liquid by Halo getting some good reviews from our regulars.
Happy reading!

I would like to be able to refill my own so I won't have to buy new carts all the time

You can refill most any cartridge

I would like at least a medium throat hit, maybe more

Throat hit is subjective. 18-36 mg/ml concentration of e-liquid will give you throat hit. The higher the concentration, the higher the throat hit.

I don't really mind manual or auto
Durability is key

Durability does not really exist. Atomizers die in a few days to a few months depending upon many factors. Typical screw-in batteries will stop providing quality power in a little as a few weeks. Have some of these components on-hand at all times.

I don't want to have to refill or recharge very often

Ain't gonna happen, particularly if you vape heavily.

Also, I'd like to order two of them, one for me and one for my mom. My mom has been smoking for quite a while, and I'd like to get her to stop smoking.

I can recommend a 901 or 801 as a good starting point. Many users are enthusiastic with the 510 model.

There are lots of great supporting suppliers here on ECF. Some good one-stop shops include LiteCigUSA and Rocky Mountain Vapor. If you decide vaping is going to be a long term committment, consider placing larger orders through Heaven Gifts and BestEcig, both in China.

You can do this with all e-cig models, I think.

As someone already mentioned, the throat hit is directly related to the nicotine level. If you use a mod, you can get a better TH with a lower nic.

Durability is key
I don't want to have to refill or recharge very often

Either the Vapor King (XL) or a mod have long-lasting batteries and better juice capacity. The 510 has a lousy battery life and the other pen styles aren't much better from what I understand. If you spend much time in the car or on the computer, battery life may be less important because you can use a pass-thru with your usb port.

Is your mom good with technology and new things? If she's not the type to enjoy fussing, fiddling, dripping and/or frequent top-ups, I'd stay away from any model that requires it, like the 510. If she's ok with that sort of thing, you may want to look into ordering a couple of 510's but they are 3-piece units with a separate atomizer that will need replacing on a regular basis.

The VK is easiest to use, the cartos have a relatively large juice capacity (1 ml), and the XL batteries easy last 6+ hours. There are probably also mods out there that work even better than the Vapor King but I'll let someone else chime in about those because I'm still not sure which one is the best.

There are lots of vendors that sell excellent juice: MyFreedomSmokes (my favorite), Mrs. T's Bakery, NHaler, Tasty Vapor, and DIY Flavorshack are the ones I see mentioned most often. If you do choose the VK, some of their flavors are terrific. My current list of faves, which change on a regular basis: espresso, banana, caramel mocha frappuccino, butterscotch, orange juice, Parliament, and grape.

The bottom line is that you have to try different juices for yourself, in different nicotine levels, because everyone has different taste buds and it's impossible to know what you'll love until you try a few.

Still have tons to look up, but on cignot, how much time would the extended battery give me? how long does each last and is the extended one worth it?

The extended battery is great but it does not fit in the PCC. If you order a kit then it is not a bad idea to add that as a third battery. For the life I would say it will last you anywhere from 2-5 hrs. It really all depends on how heavlily you vape. Takes about 2 hrs to charge. The regular batteries last me about 2 hrs (1hr 30min. chain vaping) and take about 1hr and 15min to charge.

I'm sorry but I cannot find an edit button :S

But... I was thinking about getting a 510 (possibly from cignot) for me and a two piece for my mom but the atomisers are pretty expensive, and I heard that the cartomisers are less expensive. Most of my research has been towards the 510 but I'm thinking about looking into a two piece instead. So can anyone help me looking into a 2 piece or giving me a good reason to stick with the 510 (at least for me)

The cartomizers are not less expensive. At best, they cost about the same. Because you can only refill them maybe a dozen times, if you are lucky. 510 attys last weeks, occasionally months. And how's that for an argument against 2-parters: Burned filling IIIIIIIVV (Although I heard there is a brand that does not have that problem.)
I also found them not exactly easier to use, if you want to refill. (If not, they are quite expensive.) You can check my user notes for a preliminary version of my KR8 review; it's probably very close to what I will put up into the forum soon.

Stick with the 510.

Oh, and you will see the Edit button, and get the abilitiy to post links and start threads elsewhere, when you reach 15 posts.

Thank you very much! I will go with the 510 from heaven-gifts... Probably 2x of the 2 manuals, with 2 passthroughs and a PCC.... How many atomizers and how many batteries should i get, also I'm thinking about getting at least one of the mega Batteries.. well actually I'd like to look into an eGo battery which was previously mentioned.... where would I go about getting two of those?? Also.. an edobit? I cannot find one of those anywhere... (so far) Thank you

I like ordering from heaven gifts myself, but it seems to me, from what I read, that in the US Cignot is definitely an alternative worth looking into, at least for 510s. China always takes a while.

I'd get a starter kit, myself. 2 atties, 2 batteries, a few carts and a loader, you need all of this anyway, and it's usually slightly cheaper than buying every piece on its own. Each battery type has something going for it: Shorts can be very easily kept between your teeth, and also, I like that, whenever the battery is empty, it's a good time to top off the carts, too. Or vice versa ;) The megas last longer, and look quite elegant. The eGos last long. I don't think I'll only use eGos when I get them.
