Bought the NJOY e-cig (the mini that looks like a real cig) a few months ago...basically got it b/c they sell the cartridges at the Pilot truck stop down the road from me (this was before I learned about this site and e-juice, I was buying cartridges a LOT)

My biggest problem was that the carts ran out too quick. SO,
I looked up e-liquids and decided on Johnson Creek Smoke juice, 24mg...I am now filling my own carts.

However, they still run out too fast...they last longer than the NJOY pre-filled carts but not long enough...that and I am down to one battery as the other pooped out on me.

I am still on analogs half the time due to my dissatisfaction with the NJOY...and I want to quit them for good!

I normally smoke my NJOY as I would an analog, about 10-12 puffs over a few minutes, slower pulls though, as I have read on here that you shouldn't pull hard like an analog....

So, as I have read on here there are a ton of other, probably better, e-cigs out there.

can you recommend one that gives a hit like a real cig? The Johnson Creek juice does in the NJOY at first, but then fades fast (prob. the cart size)
it can be the bigger "pen style", and price isn't a factor unless it's like $500 or something...also, is there a better e-liquid than Johnson Creek? I went with them since they seem legit (i.e. not something from China that could have God knows what in it).

I have messed around on here trying to find the best e-cig, but end up getting a bit confused with the lingo (901, 501, etc..)

Thanks for any help you can give!!!!

The batteries are warratied for a year call Njoy up they'll swap out the battery for you. I'm not sure of the site but they now make a double size cartridge that will fit that battery. I have an Npro and still use it, it is a workhorse with a lot of vapor. I currently use an inexpensive 510 unit widely available look for sales I think cignot.com has a no box deal for $35.00 . The 510 gives lots of vapor is a 3 piece as the Npro, but you can add an adapter for a few dollars (got mine from goodprophets.com) that will also let you use it for 901's and 808 cartomizers which can be really convenient on the road with no need to top-off or drip. I think the 510 with the adapter gives you the best of three worlds using 1 battery type. I'm sure other more experienced users will chime in with opinions. best of luck and happy vaping!

I started on that same njoy a year ago . . didnt last very long lol . . just started vaping again this year and its going great. Got a VP Spade from dietsmokes. . . i see now i made 2 big mistakes with that njoy . . first was the lack of knowledge about e-cigs . . second, really thinking i had to have one that looked like a real cig. They don't have the power or vapor production i needed ( i love fogging up every room in my house lol :p )

I started with an njoy penstyle and was not happy with it at all. since then I have moved on to my joye 510 and I am 100% more satisfied. I get much more vapor and much more throat hit. You can get the 510 for a good price at cignot.com and rockymountainvapor.com. I do recomend that you get one with a manual battery, and make sure you get a pcc with it so you can charge the batterys when on the go.

As far as liquid goes, I dont personally dont like johnsoncreek that much. For me tastyvapor.us has to be the best supplier I have tried so far. Good quality liquids, lots of flavor choices, and very good prices.

Twenty bucks for a atty, and has to be bought online(which sux cause the only way to get a new one at the store is to buy a whole starter kit). With all the great stuff out there you'll find something much better. My atty's died after 2 weeks of light use. They did send out new ones pretty quick, but I was trying to quit and it was a hassle.

I also started with an Nipro and bought it at Pilot. I bought carts which were very expensive. I was never really satisfied. Then I found this forum. After much review I found that most people liked the 510. I ordered these and they are 100% better than a Nipro. I have numerous Nipro but don't use any of them. Also I have recently got 2 mod. I really don't find them that much different than the 510 other than the battery lasting much longer.

Good luck and hope you can completely get off of analogs.

Sounds more like you need to be using a cart mod. Check out the cart mod forum for more information Cartridge Mods - E-Cigarette Forum

If you are considering the 510 maybe you should spend the xtra bucks and get yourself an eGo from Janty USA - USA SHOP || Shipping in USA. I have heard alot of good things about this e-cig. Apparently the battery life is something else, anywhere from 7 - 12 hours per charge (varies according to vaping style). The eGo will be my next upgrade.

For starters review the thread http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/jantyusa/61668-i-love-my-ego.html

E-liquid: Everybody has a preference - I recommend that you find a supplier that sells sampler packs.

Update: I just found out that in celebration of Year of the Tiger in China, Janty has just put the eGo on sale: $5 off. The complete kit is now $79.95

Read the 4081 threads Jim Davis posted. Then you can go chase the perfect ecig like we all have.
I started with the NPRO and am using it on a nicostick right now. I bought a 401, 901, 801, 510, and someone gave me a KR808D. There are pro's and con's to all of them. Everyone loves big carts, but they don't wick, thus a whole section of cart mods. They also leak. Then it will be the battery...
Good luck to you...

Twenty Bucks?? You're not doing your research.

I pay $5.50 for my 4081 attys, $6.00 for 901's & $7.00 for 510's. They all last 6 months or more.
