Newbie here!! Few Questions to start.

Hi everyone, just wanted to greet the forum before I started posting. I started vaping just before the summer began.. I used to smoke a single cigarette a day, or at the bar or parties quite a few more, but I never considered myself a really big smoker. The part I liked about smoking was the social habit, and of course, the flavor and inhaling exhaling the smoke.

When my friend came over to hang out one day, he brought over a disposable e-cig (Blu) and let me try. I was hooked! I thought it was neat. I started researching, and ordered a kit from Eonsmoke, along with pre-filled cartridges of Apple, Sands, Mango and Strawberry. The experience overall has been awesome so far, but I want to get the most for my money, and have an even better experience. Until now I haven't realized what a big following vaping has. It looks like there is an overwhelming mass of information to understand yet. I am looking to pick up a new kit, however, I want to stay with a cigarette look-alike (for now).

I am 90% sure I want a halo kit with blank cart's that I can fill with my own e-liquid. I am all about flavor, particularly fruity and sweet flavors, so I want to get the best tasting cart's and tanks. Along with my purchase I want to grab two of their mini tanks to throw in so I can try them out. Would this be a good idea for a novice like me?

Also, I want to know what are some of the top e-liquid suppliers? I think i looked everywhere on the net, scoured the forum, but didn't find a vendor that had a decent Cotton Candy, Green Apple or Strawberry flavors. Those are what I'm looking for atm. Any help? Right now I think I might order a Cotton Candy from Pink Vapor Spot, along with one other flavor, but I'm not sure.

Ur_PaNic, I can not really say much about carts as I went directly to evods however since you like berries candies and sweet flavors I would suggest you try some of the specialty flavors of Alice in Vapeland. Zombie Apololypse tastes just like a fresh strawberry shortcake with whipped cream.

KjAthena, I'm still open to recommendations. I just want something portable, but if anyone can think up a rig that delivers full flavor, is portable, and isn't too complicated, I'm all ears

Actually, Halo's Triton Tank system (basically looks like an ego) looks pretty good. Might be better off with that.

my suggestion would be to save your money and skip right to EGO/EOD...I paid way more but FT has these way cheap and they are really easy to fill ,clean and change the coils on.

If you bought 2 you would have a backup of everything and could choose your colors. I think that yes, you should try some tanks as well as the cartridges to find out what you like best. Cartomizers (where the atomizer and cartomizer are in one piece) are a good, pretty inexpensive way to go too. I'm not sure what your particular brand makes though. I for the most part like fruity flavors too and I have quite a few bottles of Pink Spot that I love. Their Raspberry Lemonade got me hooked. I just got my first bottle from a brand called Lush Vapor and they seem to make really good candy type flavors too. Oooh and of course I'd recommend ELiqCube's Pink Starburst...it tastes just like pink starburst to me Well good luck and happy vaping!

Looks like a great buy.. I think that's something I can definitely live with and could enjoy more. I went to add more eVod tanks to my cart, but didn't know what ohms to get. Is 2.6 enough, or should I go with a lower resistance?

That starburst sounds good! That's the exact strawberry flavor I've been looking for. Hands down my favorite candy flavor.

You might like The Vapor Chef. Honey Pearry is to die for. It's honeydew, strawberry, and pear. It may sound like a weird combination, but it's very good. The majority of their juices are sweet and fruity and they have fantastic customer service. (And usually a free sample!)

I have to be honest I have been vaping for quite awhile now and somehow through all the RBA/RDA's, Clearomizers, BCC Tanks, Etc. It seems as if the Boge Cartomizers in a tank all ways perform the best IMHO couple that to a tank and its good ole vaping at its finest.

Went and purchased an Ego-C Twist from Virgin Vapors, along with a Evod Clearo and a 1/2 oz of their cotton candy juice. Also got the charger form amazon and a pack of 5 ato-heads for the clearo as back-ups. Cost me $50 for everything shipped. Can't wait to get everything and let everyone know what I think.

I've never used them but was looking a bit at them online since my mother also wants a cigarette analog, but check out the "vision nano" they're 1ml and about as compact as you can get with out staying on carts.
