Hello all, finally my new years resolution was finally over. Stop smoking and start vaping. It has been almost 3 weeks. Its just becoming like a hobby and shopping for more stuff. I bought stuff that I can't use and buying from 7 different vendors. Still learning about ohm, voltage, kind of tanks etc. Its just getting expensive, but it's ok.

Wondering is this normal when you are new to vaping buying to several vendors?

Good job quitting! Welcome to the forum. Read the threads here, ask questions and visit Tasteyourjuice.com... PBusaro reviews everything on his site and is full of knowledge and hopefully that will help you cut down on the unnecessary purchases, or you could always buy the things the fit to justify the purchase !

That's normal! I calmed down after about 2 months and stabilized, and the savings started to rack up. There's a pile of stuff I don't really use, but could if I ever get the motivation to do so. If not, it's there in case my other stuff breaks or Mom needs something.

Amazingly, the watchwords in this house have been, "Buy what you think you need and hang the cost." The reaction to my quitting smoking was so positive that price was, for all reasonable intents and purposes, no object. I was even asked for a Christmas Wish List of things I would want (there was nothing, I own everything I could want except maybe a mod with removable battery). That would never have happened with anything smoke-related.

Thank you friends, I have all this drip tips, tanks, carto and atomizers that does not fit here and there, then I realize need adapters. I just want to stick maybe from 7 vendors to three but don't have in particular right now. I'm still testing vendors and reading this forum. I don't have a particular vendor for my e-juice yet.

Ah yes, juice, the Holy Grail. I've probably spent more on juice than all of my other gear put together. I have an all day vape, a back-up all day vape, and a few other ones that I like a lot - but I can't stop trying new ones. It's nuts! I smoked the same brand of cigarettes for at least 15 years, and before that another brand for 5-6 years. The cigs pretty much tasted the same; I can't imagine smoking different brands of cigarettes throughout the day to try flavors.

I'm there too. I quit maybe 4 months ago and just made a big purchase that didn't go as well as I intended. I learned a lot though and made good use of my research and in the end accomplished my main goal: experimenting. Welcome to vaping! I think the most rewarding thing about the switch is how good you feel about it and rightfully so I'd say

Hey, I'm there too. Started about 3 weeks ago with disposables, and have now gotten enough gear for awhile, but still hunting for more good e-liquids. Already spent more than I expected on some gear that I won't use much, but I can't feel too bad about it, since for the first time in decades I'm not smoking much. I hope I can make this work and improve my health.

Best wishes for your success.

Welcome. I still use multiple vendors. I have never found a one stop shop. I have a juice vendor, a battery and charger vendor, an atty/carto vendor, and of course the place I get my mods. Once you've found exactly what u like and what best suits your needs it gets to be routine. I order juice the most, and atties not so often. I have spare batteries and chargers just in case. And I have spare atties i keep just in case.
Welcome home ecf'r

I, too, just stopped smoking and my husband (who has never smoked anything) has been incredibly supportive. It's only been nine days, but, with the help of vaping, I'm certain that I'll never smoke a cigarette again.

Isn't starting a new hobby/habit awesome, lol...

In under 2 weeks I have multiple orders from 4 vendors for equipment, ie: batteries, various types of clearomizers to try out, shorty cartomizers, drip tips and a leather holster from SerenityGear, 3 vendors for e-liquids and checked out a local shop that I was turned on too from a poster here, lol, so yes it can get a little costly if you're not focusing strictly on the necessary items and picking up a bunch of those "these are cool" things, :)

Awesome job of making it nearly 3 weeks! !!!

I'm barely 3 days, lol....

Thank you everyone !

I wished I could have known this Ecigs years ago until I went to a party saw my two friends & showed me their Ecigs last Dec. and I started googling it. The strange thing was when I saw them New Years party they are smoking analog and asked them why. They told me the analog taste better, so then I gave them my other kit Ego 1300. I have 5 Egos 1300 and one VV Mod. But i'm still learning though.

I been wanting to quit so many years ago, tried patches, gum etc.that I buy at Costco didnt work, went to doctor about Chantix but doctor told me have to attend seminars, may have side effects an expensive so I did not try it. Been smoking for 30 years and every year its my New Years resolution and found this ecig finally its a big change for me. I'm happy, no smell, I don't have to go to my garage to smoke, I can smoke now inside my home, my office it is really great.
