Julie Anne, Thanks that's what I needed to know! I am an EMT, we have our extremely stressful days, and we have our long, boring days. I usually run a 48 to 72 hour shift so I just want to be prepared. Liberty flights will be who I make this purchase through, they are the only ones who except paypal that I have found.

Thanks! I think I have my order figured out. I have the riva 510, 30ml pg juice, 5 pack of boge 2ohm cartomizers, and a drip tip. How long can I expect the 30ml to last, or how many drips is usually in a 30ml bottle. I see that these cartomizers take about 8 to 10 drips. If I need a needle to fill I can always get them at work, just one of the benefits. I am not a very heavy smoker, about a pack or so a day, maybe more depending on stress level at work.

Just a quick note here: Your drip tip is not needed with cartomizers. Driptips are mounted directly to atomizers and allow you to drip juice directly onto the atty. Great flavor and vapor, not much convenience.

This vendor's website has a great break down of info for newbies. I'm not advertising the vendor, I'm just pimping out the great layout of info they offer:

Cignot your Midwest Electronic Cigarette store.

Jeff, ~20 drops in a ml, depending on the dripper and how thick the juice is. 30ml would last me near a month I'd think. (Still haven't been vaping a month yet, heh). Some vape 3ml in a day. I was a PAD smoker and right now I think I vape around 1-2ml at an average of 18mg. I think the cartomizer will take more than 8 to 10 drops. I get 10-15 drips in a regular cartridge. Oh, and PayPal has pretty much shut off e-cig/liquid providers (pressure from the U.S. government, if I recall correctly.) I think because Liberty Flights is international they still get to use them.

MacDiver, those look cool - bookmarked, thanks! :)

Just got my $30 Riva today from Liberty Flights! I ordered it 12/29 and it was in my mailbox today 12/31 from San Diego To Indiana! Amazingly fast! $2.99 priority mail shipping! Can't give you a review of it yet as i'm sitting here looking at it charge! They say a watched pot never boils LOL
Got the Tobacco juice and it had good throat hit at 24 mg (using it with my battery eating joye 510. 2 batteries in 1 month and think a 3rd is on it's way out)! Make sure and click the 20% off button if you do order from there!
Looked everywhere and couldn't find a price that could touch it in the USA!
Good Luck!

Hey Jeff..! Not terribly experienced with giving advice, so please take my experience (not advise) with a tiny grain of salt and learn from what I've done.. hopefully..

I smoked analogs. A pack a day at least, when not drinking with my boys!

Fast forward to 5.5 months ago..
Wife see's dude selling at local mall selling "mall" eCigs.
She tells me about it and believes it is something I would be down with.
Me = Skeptical
I do research and decide to go "all in" after learning that the "mall" stuff = poop, and there are some awesome alternatives to "poop" out there!!

I spend serious $$$ on a SD (screw driver), 901 atomizers, 510 atomizers, carts, fluval, oils, flavor, AG, PV, blah blah blaaaah.
Did I go too far too fast? Umm.. yes..
Do I regret it? Uhhh.. NO!!
Did I waste a bunch of $$$? Errrr.. for me.. I really don't care..

I've wasted 1/2 of the "stuff" I bought "learning" how to be a Vaper, and I'm still a newbie. I simply based my exuberant purchasing of this, new and exciting technological marvelous wonder, on what I was spending on analogs. (Almost $300 a month)

If I would have been more patient I would have saved hundreds, and it's not that I can really afford it since the current economy has affected me more than significantly. I looked at it as an investment.. at the time.
If I knew then what I know now I would I have done it differently? Of course.

So if I had to do it all over again, I would have bought things in smaller quantities. That's it.. for me..

When my Screwdriver arrived was the last day of me touching analogs, so the "wasted" money wasn't wasted.. to me..

Good luck!!!

On a normal day I will smoke about a pack of analogs. Since I bought the 51 trio I have cut that into a third and have only had it for a couple days. I bought it to see if I liked the e-cigs. I got it for $60 no real harm, as I have read that others have spent up to $200 on the "mall" brands. I really wish that I had found the site a couple days ago. I bought everything tonight for $62 shipped and from what I can tell, and from what others have said and recommended, it will last quite a long time. I have been looking for something that will either cut my analog usage completely, or slow me down drastically. I was going to try other methods but, I am not good at taking meds everyday, patches wouldn't work for me, and everyone else in my family smokes making it harder to quit. The battery just died on my e-cig a bit ago and I went outside for a smoke. I was coughing the whole time, and got a sick feeling in my stomach. I can safely say that I will be a vapor' from now on. Hopefully I can pass this new lifestyle on to my family members and help them kick the habit as well. Thank you everyone for your input and helpfulness, it really is appreciated! I am sure I will have more questions in the future and with a little more reading on the site, and research on my own, maybe I can help someone the same as you have all helped me! Happy New Year!

Good luck with your Riva! I have an eGo and love the XL Cartos!! LOVE them! I just drip into the bottom hole (it sucks right in and if it doesn't tap the mouthpiece on the table...it probably has an air bubble). It can hold about 25 vg/pg 50/50 drops. Beware of the pg pouring out the other end...it's thin, so watch it!! Easy, lots of vapor and lasts a long time.

I really hate the darned atomizers and cartridges...the mega ones. The regular sized ones are fine except you have to keep refilling.

So, I think you'll do fine with what you got!! Keep us posted!! And you'll find your order in your mailbox super fast from LF! Unfortunately, no mail tomorrow or Sunday. sigh

I personally love my screwdriver MKII with lr attys. The battery last 5 to 8 hours and that's pretty good where I use around 6 mill of juice a day.The ego is great to the battery lasted me around 4 to 6 hours. SD has better battery life. With the ego you can get mega fatty so you can refill liquid less. Personal preference I would always chose SD every time. But it's all up to who you talk to.

Thanks guys. I went ahead and ordered the riva 510 and some extras. I want to give this setup a try for awhile, and if I see that I need something different I will get one of the Reo Grands or Mini's, they look more of what I am wanting, in terms of time, but I could not pass up the deal on the Riva 510 through Liberty Flights! The Reo's seem to big to carry with me while at work, but they look great for the days that I have off! Thanks Again.........Jeff

Hi Jeff, and welcome to ecf and vaping! I am also a newbie, still in week one of getting off smokes. I did a video review on here using the 510 and the ego with 510 parts. I too am looking for something that lasts longer, but just keep in mind even if you change it out every 5-6 anologs worth, it is still better and easier than packing and walking outside to smoke. check out the vid, maybe it will give you some good info. its in the e-cig video reviews on the main page. I use the ego and get all day vaping, but I am not a heavy vaper. best of luck to you!
