This is my starter kit offered by Madvapes.
Maxi RoughStack V2 Kit
I also ordered a few other random items not really knowing if I would need them but, and extra charger,
2 batteries and a drip tip. Here are the links.

Thanks for the help!
Almost forgot to ask...about how much juice would a pack a day smoker go thru?
Hi Rob! Welcome!
I'm pretty new here and to Vaping myself, and just happened to get the same exact kit you are eagerly awaiting a few weeks ago. This setup does give a very high voltage Vape, which for me was essential to getting off analogs. I was smoking about the same amount you were. The first few hits on a new carto will have an easy draw and lots of vapor and will probably make you think it's too strong, so just "sip" don't gulp until you find your happy place.
If you get the Short body :

you'll be able to try a lower voltage. Read up on battery safety here, too.
A Carto - or Cartomizer - is a combined atomizer (the part that heats up to make the liquid vaporize) and cartridge (the part that holds the juice to be vaporized). I'm currently loving the Mega dual coil carto 1.5 ohms I got from mad vapes.
510 Black Dual Coil Mega Cartomizer, 5 Pack
They hold a lot of juice, come with endcaps for easier traveling (called condoms here), and work well for me with the higher voltage.
Don't throw them away! They're, refillable, and once the draw gets too tight, they're cleanable and you'll save a ton of money doing that. Dirty cartos mean tighter draws, so you might find you don't clean yours often. I've been using the three I've broken out of the 5 pack for a couple of weeks, and they still seem fine. Watch a video or six on how to fill cartos.
I tried the clearos (clear cartomizers without filler material), but found they don't feed enough juice at the higher voltages, and had two leak - messy!
You can also get just an atomizer and drip tip and drip a couple of drops of juice in whenever you vape. Sounded like a pain to me, but many here swear it's the cleanest tasting vape.
I also ordered an EGO kit to use when I'm traveling, as the Roughstack is hard to explain to the nice men at the airport!
One thing you'll learn quickly is everyone's tastes are very different. You'll want to experiment with some different setups to find out what you like best. And you'll want to try several juices. I thought I might like the sweet flavors, since I have a sweet tooth, but found them better to use as a topoff to a more tobacco based juice. (I'm currently loving BWB Honey Flue, with a top off of BWB watermellon, and trade that with BWB Malty with watermelon).
You might want to do some reading on nic juice safety, and nic poisoning symptoms so you don't overdo it at first. One thing I learned quickly was if you get juice on your skin - wash your hands right away!
For juice, I started with some Winston prefilled cartos from China, then quickly graduated to Backwoods Brew, and I have a dozen or so more on order from several different vendors to test out. You can check on the classifieds and pay it forward areas of this site to find cheaper ways to try many different types of juice, but with the cartos, you'll find the flavors will transfer a bit if you don't clean them between refills with a different juice. I don't notice it much. I'm using 24mg nic, and I think Don's (BWB) PG/VG ratio is 80/20, so his juice is thicker than some of the others I've tried.
Some people find they are sensitive to PG, and smoke only VG juices. VG is thinner, and produces a lot more vapor. The setup you have might not be practical for that.
With the higher voltage and the dual coil cartos, I go through a lot more juice in a day. Maybe twice what I would use with a lower setup. But once I switched to the higher voltage and dual coil cartos, I completely lost my desire to smoke analogs. A great trade off in my opinion.
Now that I've thrown in my two cents - be aware I've only been vaping and reading a few weeks... Your mileage may vary, and some of the smarter and more experienced vapers here may have their own favorite setup for tighter draws, etc. You can usually block off a bit of the air flow, from what I understand, to get a tighter draw. Haven't tried it myself.
Hope that's useful!
Warmest,
Ronda
