Hi there. I am so new that I haven't even recieved my personal vaporizors yet. Yesterday I ordered a Silver Bullet with suggested accessories and today I ordered a Joye eGo starter kit. An aquaintance told me about vaping after watching him vape in a bar and showed me his Silver Bullet and I ordered the eGo after reading this forum. I'm 55 years old and my wife & I both smoke 1 to 1-1/2 packs of cigarettes a day. I am waiting impatiently for my pv's and juices (tobacco flavored only)but I have a quick question. How many drops of juice do I put in my drip tips (Silver Bullet) or my Atomizer Cone (eGo)? Thanks for your help in advance!

in a brand new/freshly cleaned atomizer, 4 drops should be your max. After that, I maintain flavor with 2 drips every so often. As soon as it starts to taste funky, you need to add more - don't let it get any drier than that. You will notice that you have to drip often - every new vaper i've known vapes like a fiend for the first month. Once you learn where your sweet spot is to allay the craving for nicotine, try to hold it at or around that point. :)

Good luck!

Hi and welcome to ECF. With a new atomizer on my eGo I'll put 4 drops. After that I'll top off when the flavor changes and always put 3 drops. If I put 4 it floods, 2 and it only gives me around 5 decent hits. With 3 drops I'll get 12-15 good hits before I need to drip again. Before you put a new atty on put your drip tip on it and blow out the primer fluid onto a paper towel. Put the atty on a charged battery and drip the 4 drops. Take at least 5 drags without inhaling to burn off more of the primer fluid. Then try inhaling. If it still tastes nasty and makes you cough repeat. I really hate breaking in a new atty, sometimes they take half a day to start tasting decent. When you have more questions just ask, there's lots of friendly people here on ECF just waiting to answer any questions that come along.
