Hello, I keep being told to get on here and talk to people but I work a lot of hours so its hard. I bought a blu about two months ago after debating it over and over again for a long time. I really dislike the blu the batteries do not last long enough for my liking and I had issues getting them to take a charge on my laptop. Personally i think they where a waste of money. So well they are in a box somewhere and I am still smoking my Marlboro's. My mom is going to send me a ovale elips. So i am really excited and ready to see how that goes. what do you all think about the Elips? Pros? Co

That is a very overpriced system. $80 for an atomizer and 2 380Mah batteries is insane. If you are looking for a cig look-a-like (mini), go with the volt from smokeless image. You can get a kit with 5 cartomizers, 2 380mah batteries and charger for $40. They are the best minis on the market and the company has the best customer service , bar none. They also have a 15% off discount code.

If you are just looking for something for dripping, and testing juices, get a kgo with an atomizer and drip tip. Then you can also get cartomizers or clearomizers. You can get a kgo setup for $30-$50. Smokeless image, the makers of the Volt, also have a larger battery that is the same thing as a kgo.

Basically though, the elips is nothing more than a rectangular mini. I would stay away from that.

The volt has alot of great features, including the fact that their battery lasts for about 3 hours of vaping. Their cartomizers are great and last a long time.

P.S. dont feel bad about the Blu. Alot of us got sucked into their slick advertising and sharp packaging only to find out the product is not up to par, nor does it perform the way they state.

I bought myself an Ego T, with the Ego C battery upgrade that has an adjustable voltage. I quite like it. The battery life is great on the lower voltage setting and a little less on the higher. It has a nice feel in your hands and the tank system is quite nice to start with, not super fiddly.

I plan on upgrading to the Ego twist, and trying out some cartomizers, like this one eGo Mega Dual Coil 4 ML Cartomizer LR 1.5 Ohm, Single Unit - E Cig : Joye eGo & eGo-T | Boge Leo | Cartomizers | E-Liquid | Electronic Cigarettes | eGo Tank. It's gotten good reviews and looks like something that could be quite nice...

Although all that will have to wait for my next paycheck, since I went on a DIY flavor buying spree!!

I too started with blu... Huge mistake. Moved quickly thru various Joye units till I got a kr808 system; that worked perfectly until my chain vaping overcame their max capacities, and now happily playing with tanks and mods.

You'll get there, just take it slow, do your research and watch for sales. I wish you luck!

I like minis cause I dont carry a purse(if I carry one then I carry to much stuff) and they fit would better in my pocket and I like manual e-cigs. I work 8-10 hour days so being able to turn it off inbetween breaks would be nice. I have been lurking on here for awhile and just trying to pick though all the different brands and styles an decide what I want in a e-cigarette.

FYI...Smokeless Image may sell the Volt...but it's made by HKHangsen in China...they are KR808d-1 Batteries...nothing on Smokeless Images site specifies battery size other than the large 650,900 and 1300 mAh batteries which all companies put out...my preference being the eGo Batteries. In fact..the KR808's are usually only 200mAh....Here's the link to Hangsen...also...the PCC charging case that Smokeless Image retails for 29 dollars I can get from Hangsen for less than 1/4 that price...and the almost 7 dollar Clearomizers...I can get for less than 2 dollars....Smokeless Image is waayyy overpriced..

Individuals cant buy from hkhangsen, they are a wholesaler. I am well aware that the products come from china, as do all of the products the us companies sell.

Now, the volt, halo g6 and smoov are all the same exact battery. The are kr808, regulated down to 3.7. They all get the battery from the same place. Smokeless image is the cheapest out of the 3 companies.

Why mention that is cheaper from hkhangsen when people can't purchase from them

It will be better than the blu so it is good to be excited about it. You have a nice mother and she is evidently concerned about your health. The important thing is to get off cigarettes as soon as possible before you receive permanent damage to your lungs like I did.

Thanks Tumbleweed, Yes I could not have asked for a better mom :) I would be nice to just be able to save some money verses not LOL.
Thank you Max and well i think if I can get a e-cigarette that works for me then it will be pretty easy for me to quit. I have gotten to the point where I can't stand the smell of cigarette on me or other people. If it was just me i could probably quit cold turkey but my hubby smokes too and he has a harder time quitting which makes it harder for me.
