Hey everyone, a Florida Vaper here by the name of Melonie. I quit smoking and started vaping in January of this year and have met some pretty awesome folks along the way. I'm new here to ECF and wanted to drop in to make one of my five first posts and say hello to everyone. There is a lot of information on this site and I've been reading until my eyelids want to shut. My problem is I don't know all the correct lingo yet but I'm getting there. I use Egos and am satisfied with the way they work for me. However, I went from one addiction to another. Happy vaping!

Well, an addiction to exercise and an addiction to fast food are both addictions too- but one is definitely better than the other!
Welcome- and there is a glossary available for some of the lingo.

Hi Melonie, Welcome to the ECF. And yes you do sort of trade a no good addiction for one that in my opinion is a better one. That means you have less chance of falling back to the old one. If it keeps us off analogs then I'm all for it. Happy Vaping.

Hi Melonie! I am also a Newbie, and just signed up here yesterday. I quit smoking (after 25+ years) on Jan 30th of this year, and I'm totally loving vaping! I also use ego style batts, but just ordered a Vamo v2 as my first Variable power mod. At least this addiction is better on our lungs! See you around the forum!
