See what I mean not even an hour and two posts from opposite sides of the globe BTW I recently read about the impending EU regulations on the E-cigs. Borescoped you should probably be stocking up on juice and tanks and cartos and mods before you can't get them anywhere but a pharmacy.

Heh, I'm Air Force. I have the wonderfull (and always EXTREMELY fast) USPS service on base to utilize to get my supplies!

I was actually looking into the VW itaste vv 3.0 as I like the size of my ego's as an on the go or out of the house mod and an MVP for longer trips and camping. I will still need to find a bigger tank system I like I know the 1.6ml isn't enough as it doesn't even last a work day without the threat of dry hits on the ride home. I picked up a vivi nova and it is bigger but it tastes burnt on my passthroughs after the first intial good hit so I am now looking to a bottom coil tank like a Kangar EVOD or a Kangar Pro-tank.

Yea but could you be busted for it???? Or is the ban more like a keep the wool pulled over the public's eyes kinda thing?

Doubt it. Besides, they'd have to bust all the Brits I see walking around with them also, and they ain't as nice as I am. As it is, I'd probably still tell them to get bent if they tried that with me.

Ban to keep the wool over? Possibly, or the EU politicians are ignorant (or even worse, willfully ignorant). Follow the money though, they want their taxes IMO.

I'm hedging my bets that the UK will tell the EU to get stuffed regarding this, the UK ecig users seem to be a large and vocal bunch.

+1 for the itaste v3, I'd like to get a pair myself also, to replace my ego's. I have a VN (probably a knock off), and I too get the burnt flavor, and that's even after re-wicking/re-coiling it.

I'd recommend the evod's, protanks or T3s/MT3s (have evod/protank style heads). Easy to rebuild, cheap to rebuild.

Is it a glass tank pyrex or what I am looking to buy once and buy right a tank and a 5 pack of atomizers and some kanthal and wick should last me a year yes/no??

If you want to want to have something solid you can use any juice in, and do easy rebuilds, IMO you can't do much better than the kanger evod/protank/T3s/MT3s style clearomizers. Pbusardo from tasteyourjuice.com has a good video tutorial on how to rebuild those coils, as well as reviews/overviews of them. Evod = polycarbonate, protank = Pyrex, T3s/MT3s = polycarbonate. Polycarbonate can break down with citric/cinnamon tank cracking types of juices (there is a list on ECF that has a bunch of them listed by name and/or types). Polypropylene plastics are considered mostly safe (save the ultra potent juices) and Pyrex should be a-ok for all.

As far as wick and wire, you can buy from many vendors (many online stores have silica wicking materials, ekowool also, and either nichrome or kanthal). I personally use The Vape Mesh Company. Lots of others use Temco Industrial for wire. Others swear by some dude on amazon. If you can afford to buy a few different types/sizes of wick and wire, get like 34/32/30 awg kanthal A1, and some different sized wick like 1mm, 1.5, 2 and 2.5. Don't buy too much of any one kind (but get enough to tinker with for a week or two, like up to 10ft of wire, a few feet of wick), learn and build up your knowledge and skill, THEN buy in bulk what you are happy with. Wouldn't hurt to have a few extra 5 packs of evod bottom coil clearo heads. You will need some thru a whole year, but much less if you rebuild instead of throwing them away.

Also, buy a digital multimeter, and learn how to check resistance/ohms with it. Don't just blindly build a new wick/coil and not test it, you'll cause an accident. Many good posts/blogs on this site about rebuilding and tips/tricks, some even specific to evod's. Always check your resistances before you attach and fire a newly wrapped coil!

When in doubt, re-read and re-watch, THEN if you still have questions and/or concerns, pop back in and ask questions!! Everyone here (minus a few trolls lurking in the weeds) will normally go out of their way to help advise folks!

Hope that helps you out!

Hi guys, I'm a super newbie. I wonder how many people are like me. When I'm all stressed out, I just needed an analog. But I just HATED the smell of that after-taste in my mouth (not to mention my hair, clothes, house....) then I realised I just needed the nicotine! So I searched and searched and found e-cig on the web. Ordered it and it's 'on-the-way'. Only after that I found ECF and realised what a blind-bat I have been, not realising there's a big community here. Talk about blur man. Well guys, it sure feels like home here and I haven't even vapped a single vap yet. Lol!

but doesn't the ego thread kinda limit what you can screw it into?

An ego threaded battery will accept ego and 510 accessories. The protank is 510 threaded, the EVOD is ego threaded. This covers a majority of available accessories.

To answer your other question about the iclear 30: I have one, and it collects dust. I far prefer its little cousin, the iclear 16, as well as evod's and the protank. I get very little flavor from the 30.
