Hello. I'm Tracey and just wanted to say hello. I'm Going to try the E Cig today and wanted to get on so I can research and make sure I have friends on the same thing and options on doing this. I am very worried about COPD with this because I do have Type 1 diabetes, 38 years now and I'm 40, and a disease called CRPS (Centeral Regional Pain Syndrome or RSD) which is chronic pain that is spreading in my body and is eating away at my muscles and bones. I started smoking again when I was 32. My girls keep begging me to stop and I've heard that this can really cut it back or down. I'm just worried about the COPD, which I have stated earlier. My doctors even want me to stop smoking. I have 3 girls and am married for a second time to my great second husband for almost 5 years now. Thank you for listening and I'm really glad I found this site!

I do know someone, I hate to say this and have them help me, but my daughters 16 year old best friend, and a member of our family for many years. We are going today to pick out juices. She is letting me borrow her ECig so I can see if I like it before I buy one. She uses a 6 and she hardly smokes. I will need something stronger, that I know for sure. We are going to the shop today so they can help me out too. Thank you for the sites and welcome!

If you see an iStick 30watt (battery) and a mini Nautilus (tank) consider them. It's a great combination. Long battery life, glass tank and adjustable airflow.

Why would you want a glass tank (you may be thinking to yourself)? Here is a great resource regarding "tank cracking" eliquid by ECF member Baditude: Something Safe for Cinnamon and Citrus Flavors

Hi Tracey and welcome! The advice and support from everyone on this site is fantastic. I am pretty new to vaping also and I will second Susan~S' recommendation for the iStick 30w and Nautilus mini. I started out with a cigalike, but worked my way up to that and haven't had an analog since. Good luck to you!

Hi Tracey and welcome, I have asthma and COPD, vaping has helped me get and keep these under control. So while some flavors may bother you vaping will be much better for you in the long run.

I do wish your daughters friend was older, but I am glad you have someone there who can help you as you learn.

Hi Tracey, I too have COPD and since I started vaping I'm breathing a bit better I think. I've been off cigarettes for over 72 hours now! Could not have done it without vaping. I hope you find some gear that works out really well for you. I second the recommendation for the istick 30 and a Nautilus or protank 3. I've been using Protank 3 so far, but I have a Nautilus on the way to me. I hope vaping helps your health as it seems to be helping mine. :)
