Hi all! I'm new to both the forum and vaping. I just received my Joye eGo kit today and I'm charging up the first battery now. I can't wait to get started!

I was expecting a little more information included in the kit regarding out of the box start up. I purchased the Joye eGo 510 standard bundle, and I believe the carts are pre-loaded. I did get some juice too, in case I open one up and find that they're not. Since it is an atty and cart system, do I have to blow out the atty or anything prior to use, or is that just for cartos?

I'm sure I'll have many more questions in the future, but that's it for now. I'm so thankful I found this forum!

Thanks for the response, Tersur!

I'm up and running now, and loving it! I honestly didn't taste anything at first, so after a few experimental hits I added some clove flavored juice and WOW! I'm guessing the included carts came with just enough bland juice to keep the fill wet? Anyway, this is something I am definitely going to enjoy learning more about and experimenting with!

Good luck! I have a similar setup, the Kgo, and I feel like I could help you if you need anything. Feel free to message me. The instructions are not great. You can find YouTube videos, they are helpful. I did find that on Day 1, I had a sore throat from vaping, and that went away about Day 3. The first thing I did was buy some cartomizers, they are so much better than what comes with the kit. The 2.0 ohm low resistance cartomizers were okay, but I really like the 1.5 ohm dual coil cartomizer better.

Thanks Sandy! I have read a LOT on these boards and watched a few videos, so I think I've got the basics down. I've been vaping for a few hours now and while part of me feels like I should be going outside for an analog, most of me recognizes that I don't need to. And I am really loving this clove flavor!

Why do so many vapers prefer cartos to attys? Maybe I've just been reading so much that things are getting all muddled in my mind, but it seems like there are more duds and they tend to have a shorter life. I do think I'm going to try them out, I'm just not sure why lol. I also don't fully understand the differences between ohm ratings, dual coil, LR, etc...I was going to tackle that once I felt a little less lost in the woods. For now, I'm just going to sit back and enjoy my new toy! :vapor:

Hey BluSwatch sounds like you know the talk now with volts and ohms thats just input/output of power. Your battery will have a top out of output so you need to match a cart or atomizer that will be able to handle the output. Otherwise you will burn out or under-perform your cartos or atomizer depending on which you have. Some stores will have the output and such listed for thier carts and atomizers. hope that helps.

But if I have a GLV 3.7v Mini, how would I know the best resistance atty or carto to use? That's the part I don't get ......
Is it higher ohm = more smoke?, lower ohm= warmer smoke?
The PVs need to come with little cards to follow ....

Dang ..... I meant "vapor" ..... I haven't been at this long enough
