Hello my name is Nancy live in NJ and a mom of all daughters and a Rotty pup lol
I gave up cigs and started vaping around 3 weeks ago.My first week I made it with two packs of cigarettes...than I ran out and found a juice called nuport and smooth menthol as well as menthol cowboy etc..and on black Friday I purchased an MVP.
My last cigarette was on black Friday morning..prior to my MVP.
I keep it at 4 volts and it appears to be working with the tobacco menthol juice.fruit juice so far are not doing it for me....maybe eventually lol
I have in unconsciously quit smoking.strange, but it works for me and I'm happy.
I lost my MVP and was frantic and almost ran off for a pack of smokes lol but found it.
Too bad there is no necklaces or laynard for the MVP,....
I am a member of the Google plus The vaping Group and a few Facebook groups.I post often on social cam which I love and need to go back lol
I stumbled across this and everything I need to know is here..pretty awesome site!!
That's it...my intro quick one lol

Welcome to ECF. MVP is highly regarded. One of the big things you'll see stressed here is backups, and backups for your backups. This way you won't be tempted to run out and get a pack of smokes if something happens like losing a device, or the device decides to take a permanent holiday.

Juice is a journey all in its self, many of us find that what we liked at one point no longer does the trick. Glad you found something you like and it is working for you. Best wishes and you have found a great resource in ECF.

Welcome Nancy!!

There is a website that offers over 4000 different Ecig items FASTTECH.Com it will take a couple of hours to go thru it be prepared... ;)
I do suggest a secondary/backup unit, eventually you will have a momentary loss of functional equipment, everyone has that I know of. As far as juices go, there are literally 100's to choose from. I prefer Heathers Heavenly Vapes. Very consistant in their product flavors. See what others have to say about their favorite device and juice.

Welcome Nancy!

Like you, I have found my self in situations in the past where I left my device at home, battery ran out or i ran out of juice while being out and had to go buy a pack of analogs :(

I have since learned like SirSteve mentioned to have backups! I always carry a spare device with me as well as my juice and battery. This way I can stay away from those nasty analogs.

Good choice with the MVP, I myself am ordering one soon. This is definitely a journey and a great learning experience! I am soon going to take the dive down the DIY E juice road and am looking forward to it!

Again welcome, but a BIG congradulations for making the move away from analogs.

Welcome to ECF! I just got an MVP2 a couple of days ago, and it's fabulous. I bought it as back up for my iTaste VV v3, but my husband took that to use. Bit harder to get enough equipment for two people when one person is reluctant to buy anything before he tried it. But yes, DO get back ups. The VV v3 hits pretty much like the MVP 2. Had the same functionality and comes in a smaller package. Plus, I do believe there is a leather lanyard for it that Innokin sells. If I still had the VV v3, it would probably be my main chasing after kids and need more functionality with my hands vape. The MVP however is great to take to work, as I have a 2 hour commute and the battery life is phenomenal. Plus, it'll charge my phone in a pinch. Congrats on quitting cigs!

Hi Nancy, and congrats for getting off the analogs. Just one thing I wanted to mention - I love FastTech, and I order from them regularly, but a 1 month shipping time is pretty common. If I were you I would get my first backup from somewhere else, and get it soon, before you end up having to buy a pack of smokes. Give it a few more weeks, the smell of cigarette smoke will repulse you.

Another thing about Fasttech is to make sure what you purchase says genuine. Fasttech looks like its great if you want a decent clone, or you have plenty of backup already and just want to try something. However, you can find reasonable pricing in the US for necessary back up stuff. I've seen just the battery itself on sale for the VV v3 for $25. You can use the charger your MVP came with to charge it. Or, buy another MVP for $40 at 101vape. Since you are new, you may also want to invest in the complete, VV v 3 kit, which comes with 5 iClear 16's. 5 clearos should last you a while, and is an easy way to have back ups for your back ups as far as toppers are concerned. Most issues I've run across have come from the clearos, rather then the battery, so I always have multiples with me, ready to go. I also recommend the Mini Protank II, which for ME, has been the least troublesome of them all, although I like the taste I get from the iClear 16's better. Happy hunting! That's half the fun for me!
