What mod is it?
What battery specifically do you have? Make and model? Is it fully charged?
Are you turning the mod on properly? Usually 3 or 5 quick clicks of the fire button.

It could be a simple matter that the battery doesn't have enough juice to fire the mod. It may be shutting itself down because you've reached the automatic cutoff point of a low battery.

It could also be the coil resistance is either too low or too high for the mod to fire which caused the safety circuitry to kick in and turn the mod off.

Otherwise, I would return the mod back to who you bought it from.

Hi and welcome,
What box mod did you buy?
Was it a kit that came with a tank?
What brand and model of battery are you using?
How will you recharge your battery?
Where are you located?

Cheers
I

You haven't answered all of our questions.

What batteries specifically?

Are you certain the batteries are fully charged? (How do you know? What is the voltage of each battery?)

Are the 3 batteries oriented correctly in the mod according to the instructions?

Why if you have a battery charger are you charging them via USB?

Which make and model of tank and what is the coil resistance?

In support of @Baditude ’s questions, the captain is not a mod known for issues like this so the particulars of the batteries need to be determined. They’re the most likely culprit at this point. Everything is important. Battery make and model, Battery age, real battery charge voltage, battery damage if any, etc..

If you don't know the make and model number of the batteries, then describe how they look to the best of your ability. Do they look like any of these? Color?

These are the batteries I have
image-jpg.826597

That Ultrafire battery is an 18650 size battery. The wrong size. And the wrong battery chemistry (protected ICR). Your mod uses 20700 size IMR or high drain batteries. No wonder your mod isn't working. Ultrafire, Trustfire, and Surefire brand batteries are terrible.

image-jpg.826595

The iJoy battery you have is the correct size: 20700. Do you have three of them? The iJoy 20100 battery is over-rated spec wise; its not 40 amp but just 20 amp
The most important thing that you will learn today is that batteries are the most important gear in your vape setup. Choose the best batteries you can find. This is not where you can slide by with bargain basement stuff just to save a few bucks.

I highly recommend you get the correct size batteries. Then use them as a "married" trio so that they age together equally. Charge them in an external battery charger, not inside the mod via USB.

Never mix battery sizes in your mod. Never mix brands or models of batteries in your mod. Make certain to install them in the correct orientation inside the mod.

I suggest getting three of the recommended batteries in the chart below (Sanyo or Molicel). If you can't find them locally somebody here can give you a list of online suppliers to order them from; are you in North America or Europe?

Not only are you showing different makers of batteries, but the trustfire is a 18650 battery. No wonder it shuts off, since the mod is protecting its circuitry.
Spot on!She probably installed them without using the 18650 adaptors.
