New here and need some help with my battery.

So i bought an Ego x6 battery today after hearing some good things. i chose this battery specifically because it was VV and was a larger size battery to fit my iClear 30B tank. i bought the battery from a local vendor, and when i got home i charged up the battery and when i went use it i was surprised to find that i could not switch the voltage settings. i have looked everywhere for my issue and cannot seem to find it anywhere. when i press the fire button 5 times to change the settings it just turns the battery on/off, no voltage change at all. has anyone else had this issue? is there a way to turn the VV on/off? need help thanks

On the eGo batteries, if I remember correctly, it was on the bottom and it turned.

Sorry, I just looked it up...is it authentic?

Im not sure im thinking its not because a friend has one and it has a red, blue, and purple LED, while mine has red, blue, and white. it only shows the all three colors in a light show when i turn it on, then it just stays white and turns off when i try and change voltage

My first mod was an X6. 5 button presses in quick succession would cause it to cycle from off to red, purple, blue, then off again. Not sure what to suggest if yours cycles only from off to on.
