I'm late to this thread but I will add that I have owned the MVP for 4 months or so and it also has issues with the fire button. You have to really press it hard to get it to fire. Sometimes when I press it it doesn't fire at all but then I press harder and it fires. I figure its a real issue but it doesn't bother me. I also own a iTaste 134 and it also sufferes from the same fire button issue. Press it and nothing but press it really hard and it fires all day long.

I think the MVP is a great mod but I prefer using my eGo Twists or vamo v3 when out and about.

Mechanicals are cool and I own one (K100) but you can't run the battery all the way down because mechs don't have any protection circuits. Unless you put in a kick or something. You have to keep track of the battery level and swap batteries out before damage is done.

I use my Mech mod at home only. Its a great mod for using my drip rba's or other rba's I have in general.

For you I'd suggest a good VV/VW mod. It will have the protection you need and can be used with different sized batteries. 1 18650 bat will last me a day easily if I'm out and about. Same with the eGo Twist 1000mah mods. And these are so compact that stealth vaping is easily done.

When I go out I usually have a twist 650mah and 1000mah on me as a backup.

Also I like to build low resistance coils and if I have one of my sub 1ohm coils in any given tank I find that some mods wont fire them. Mechs do, and ego twists do but my vamo and MVP won't. Just something to keep in mind.

Thanks for the tips. The Sigelei mod that is on the fritz is an 18650. I had 2 batts to rotate and truly loved it. I really liked the travel advantages vs a box batt. I blew an ego pen 650, during this 4 day ordeal with the mvp, but with 12 hr shifts the 650 just couldn't handle it, I guess. I just had a bad week, but things are looking up. I will take the sigelei back to the b& m for suggestions, but I don't expect any miracles - I've had it a month +. So long as I can kick analogs for good, I am open to suggestions. I expect I will have to rebuild it. The new mvp works great so far. I think the pens are just wrong for my clearos and big tanks. The tiny attys seem to work best, imo. Basically I got spoiled to high power and vapes with a kick! Not sure I can go back to pens on the regular! I will pick up a vv/vw cylinder when I can. This can get really expensive as well. Trying to save $ vs analogs can be tricky, especially for a newbie. Thankful for the tips.
