Sorry, I tried to post in the new members forum but it won't let me (I'm SURE it's Angus' fault!)

OK, so your mission, should you choose to accept it (and fair warning if you don't, I can be VERY mean, just ask Angus or Elendil!) I need to figure out what carto/tank/atty+tip will work for me. I find I need my vape to be hot (or at LEAST warm, as cool doesn't work). What I've been doing is running 901 attys at 7.4v and it's good but obviously the attys don't last (and I'm almost out!). My unit offers only 3.7v or 7.4v (I know 5v is most people's ideal and I imagine 5.5-6v would be ideal for ME, but I don't have that option).

The other issue I have is the constant refilling. The cartos I've tried don't work at 7.4v and don't suffice at 3.7v (note, all of my stuff is more than a year old so I'm sure there's newer/better things out now).

Ideally I'd like to run at 3.7v but with a low enough resistance to give me the heat (from my experience I'm thinking something 1.5Ohms or lower?). I'd also like to not have to jump through hoops to refill, so I'm thinking either a decent size carto, some sort of tank, or maybe even a atty with non-metal drip-tip (I have one tip and it's metal and I don't care for it much). I carry my stuff around in the pocket of my jeans, so it needs to not be so fragile that it leaks easily.

Now for the real kicker... I'm on a budget so I need CHEAP suggestions. I know a new unit like an Ego tank, variable voltage mod, Bottom-feed mod, etc. would probably be ideal but they're not in the budget so please try to think of something that's CHEAP but yet will work for me!

I appreciate any/all help!

On a side note:
For those who've been around awhile, HELLO! Now that my 15 month suspension is finally up, I'm back!!!
(For those who don't know the story, I'll just say it had to do with a mod, dropped doughnuts, and a secret Ang*s didn't want me to share with the world... ;) )

15 month suspension....OMG, I had better watch my mouth, posts, and p.m.s I could not live without my ECF fix for that long. Or have you, in reality, been someplace that you do not want to share with us? Do not fear....we are very liberal minded here.

I do not know what your p.v. is, but the eGo mega dual coil cartos are great tasting and last a long time for your 3.7 volt vaping. And the Ressurector Cartos are good also. Crystal Clear Vaping has a great price on them.

Gramva, it takes a LOT of hard work over a LONG time to get Angus and Elendil THAT mad at you. My suggestion is the sooner you start, the sooner they'll hate you! :p

I forgot to mention, I do have adapters so I don't HAVE to stick with 901's, but other than the 510 cartos I've pretty much stuck with 901s.

Do the eGo cartos work on a standard 901 or 510 fitting? I thought I read somewhere that they're not compatible with non-eGo stuff? (boy, sooo much catching up to do!)

I believe that you can buy adapters for your battery that will make them fit any type p.v. you have. I use them on my epower with an adapter. They are made for the eGo, but will adapt to others.

15 months probably means they don't remember that they hated you. I welcome you back....always in need of more vapers. My guess.....military. (or pen...lol)

I've tried most atty/cartomizer combinations on the planet.........but I always seem to end up back to direct dripping with a 3.7 volt and a LR 306 atty....

510 lr's are good. Boge 2.0 cartos are good........... but only the pull/heat from a LR 306 knocks my socks off. I send out enough vapor to give GrimGreen a shock :vapor:

Dual coils, horizontal, etc. All great products, but if I knew the world was coming to an end tomorrow, I'd be picking out a 306 out of my tackle box.........just saying......

Welcome back??? I bet the vaping world has really changed since you were surfing this forum!

You could look at Parkes Vaping, they have a long thread here. They offer a chibi tank for $8.00 which comes with a dual coil carto. Not sure if that would be enough heat for someone that is used to 7.4 (holy cow) but it's a cheap enough way to try and you get to keep the tank!
