hi guys im a newbie to the forum and a newbie to vaping, i need some advice. i bought a vapestic design and have been using for a few weeks but it just dont hit the spot for me so i bought a vapestick xl and it is a little bit better but still not what i need, i need something that is going to give me a real strong throat hit. i have seen so many different e cigs online that i just dont know what is what. my e cig looks just like a cigarette but most of the ones i have seen on this forum look like big chunky bits of kit which really look like the sort of thing i need. i need something that i can refill and it needs to be powerfull
any advice would be appreciated
thanks

Goodness me, where to start Inhaler . . . there are so many options available
to you.

A couple of questions first:

What strength eliquid or you using, as that will affect your throat hit.

What are you using on the devices you currently have?

What is your budget, for a more ' beefy ' Mod?

Forgive my manners . . . hello to you. :)

hi perpetua i have been using 24mg strength but i have had to reduce that to 18mg as i have been vaping almost all day and getting headaches , i wouldnt smoke all day but because i am searching for that strong throat hit i just seem to be breathing my vapestick .
not sure what you mean when you say " what are you using on your devices" im a complete novice so please forgive my ignorance
as for budget i think i will have to buy bit by bit and gradually build something , after buying the vapestick kit it has pretty much cleaned me out but as i will be buying bit by bit i could possibly go for anything really.
also the vapestick has disposable cartridges but i have been refilling them because it has been costing me a fortune on refills, i can vape one dry in an hour
thanks for any help

Welcome to the forum!.

I would say you are in the same boat in the Huge ocian of vaping like we all started in. I wasted a small fortune (well enough for a holiday abroad) on variouse "ciggie" looking like kits and I think I have came to the conclusion that,
first, If I want a good TH I am going to be vaping on something the size of a cigar, does not bother me but I do not know what your preference is, looking for a budget check out the LavaTube Variable voltage or the Totally Wicked Torpedo.

Then, tanks are the way forward. You fill your 2.5ml or whatever it is, then your sorted for the day. Check out the Vivi Nova V2.

Dont bother with carts and filling them, they are so hit and miss that most of the time it seems pointless in faffing around with them.

If money is not an issue, go for a Provari (its one of the ferrari of battery mods) and then look at a rebuildable attomizer. I know with all the money I wasted with chine made cheap stuff I could have jumped in with a provari and a rebuildable one and still be laughing to the bank with my saving.

Tones of info on here and allot of views on pretty much any vaping kit you can buy.

All the best!.

Ok so here are some my suggestions Inhaler . . .

First off, make sure you're drinking plenty of fluids, PG eliquid especially
can be very ' drying ' so you want to ensure that you're keeping yourself
very well hydrated to avoid headaches.

Although I find 24mg, a bit too much to handle personally, but you might
find that by upping your fluids that you can cope with a higher strength liquid
and feel more satisfied, which will then decrease the need to be continually
vaping to get the nicotine hit you're looking for.

It could also be worth looking at this range of liquid which is made from steeped
tobacco leaves, it's very good I understand, although I've not tried it personally
as I don't vape baccy flavours anymore.

CIGARRILLOS NATURALES 50ml

Then, I would get yourself some Cartomiser's ( a combined atomiser/cartridge ) . . . Boge
will give you a good throat hit.
These you can refill yourself, they'll be considerably cheaper than what
you're probably using now. They come in Standard and Low Resistance, Low Resistance will
pack more of a punch, although you need to be careful what you screw them into.

Boge 510 Standard Resistance (5) £5.99 - Vaping Spares - Cartomisers Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid

Lastly device, I'm with Jake . . . I'd go for a Lavatube if funds allow as you can up
your voltage, to give you more of a punchy vape.

Lavatube VV

If funds don't permit, then a Ego Twist is well worth consideration, as it's a Variable
Voltage battery.

Joyetech eGo-C Twist VV £22.95 - Vaping Spares - Batteries & Passthroughs Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid

Hi mate.... I use a high strength 36 mg PG mixed with some RY4 26mg with a little VG thrown in so I end up around 24/28 mg. High but it works. I use vapourworld for some ejuice and some other stuff too. I recently got some clearomisers from Health cabin ( china )1,8 ohms which I use with a ego t or c batt 650 mah. I have had great success with the set up. The ejuice is golden virginia 36 mg PG form vapourworld, the RY4 Dekang from Health cabin. I started in the cig type things but they were not the ticket. Yes you can get dry vaping, doesn't help drinking beer either, but hey.

That was really lovely of your parents Inhaler . . . the EgoT has it's fans for
sure, although there can be problems with the juice wicking well enough
from those small tanks and they can leak, just so you are aware.

But the batteries are good to have, I'd get yourself some Boge Low Resistance
cartomisers to go on them now. :)

As Perpy says, the batteries in that kit that your parents have kindly bought you are good - but the ego T tank/atomiser isn't so good.

These Boge cartomisers would be fine for you & give you better throat hit -

Looks like they bought you a decent kit to be going on with, good of them indeed!
Looking on the link it says "Ego/Echo" batteries. If they are the Echo brand I would be wary of using a low resistance cartomiser or atomoser as, looking at Vape escapes website, the echo 1300mah batteries are not suited for low resistances.
If you look in on UK Vapers forum there is a guy in your area, Digicig is his user name, and he is a great bloke that will help you whenever he can. I would start with just getting some liquid for the EgoT tanks and see how you get on with them. You can always move around to Cartomisers/tanks/echomisers and many other things if you feel the need but you may just be happy as is.
Enoy the journey and Pray to (Insert deity of choice) that you don't realise just how much time you have spent looking on the internet at Vaping stuff! :D
