Newbie needs help!!!!

This is all good info Eiliethia but I was all set to order the Bloog and then saw it was an automatic and I thought that wasn't good for beginners!!!

Any further comments?

Personally I think the Bloog Auto battery is great. I have one my self. The only "issue" they have is if you overfill the cartomizer you can get juice in the battery which will kill it. To be honest it's really not that big of a deal to tell if you've overfilled. You'll see a drop of juice at the bottom end of the cartomizer, and it will "gurgle" if you suck lightly on it. All you need is a tissue, or paper towel to put on the end and blow out gently. That will clear the air hole in the cartomizer and you can wipe the threads clean.

If you're really stuck on NOT wanting an auto battery, Happy Vaper now has Manual bloog batteries available. If you call/e-mail Jack before you order, you might be able to substitue Manual batteries in your kit.

when i got started i went straight for an EGO and love it, simple, taste great and easy to use, then moved to the ego tank but notice some juice don't go well in it and switch back to the ego, hope it help and good luck!

I also started with an Ego, then tried out the Ego tanks, but after a few weeks they were an epic fail. Leaked all the time and the wick would get so clogged it felt like pulling a milk shake through a straw. I then found out about the Bloog and ordered one from happyvaper. Then I found out about the Volt (smokelessimage.com) which is the exact same as the Bloog, but a lot cheaper. I would recommend the bloog/volt as a good starter kit, get the PCC version and you will be set. I have since moved onto the Reo and really like it. It is a no fuss all day vape. I just got tired of refilling cartos, tanks, etc and charging batteries all day.

LOL Buy them both! That would solve the problem.

The one thing I have found is that using them isn't rocket science. Sure there is a small learning curve to all systems but it's not that bad so don't overly worry about that. I would take up Eileithia's offer and get to see them in person. Figure out what your needs will be (big battery, feel like a cigarette, amount of vapour, etc) and go from there.

Well Kams Cats.....I may very well do that!!!!

Now based on dmatrix and eileithia I've done an order through Smokeless Vapor for the Volt. Basically I found their web-site the easiest. Order kit and order pre-filled cartridges and be done with it. Also I was able to order 2 batteries, 1 manual and 1 automatic so I liked that idea too.

I tried phoning Happy Vapor earlier and sending an email w/o any luck so far hence my decision making. Should HV get back to me I may well end up ordering the EGO as well because......

reading some other threads there seems to be a long wait from Smokeless Vapor probably due to the postal strike. However, my own experience is showing me the later I ordered something the sooner it arrives....anything before the postal strike is currently lost in infinity!!!

u can just order a single ego passtrhough bat for about 25$ and it has a usb in the bottom so u can charge and vape when ever u need
if u were to grab one of those with a cisco Lr 306 atty and 306 drip tip that would be a good start and cheaper than a kit , happy vaper would have it out to u in a couple day

I got my 510 back in January from Happy Jack at Happy Vaper - Canada Electronic Cigarettes and E-Liquid, DIY Concentrated Flavorings! and the day I got it I quit analogs right on the spot. I love it. Sure battery life sucks, but I have 6 batts and the pcc charger plus my passthrough and drip tip, cartos, atties etc..so I am happy with it. I love the flavor and throat hit. I have no craving for analogs, and its easy to use. I am still using the same atties I bought in January and same batts. I have had to replace the 510 passthrough though 3 times cuz the cord is crap and frays or severes easy but it's still worth the 22 bucks for it! Any newbie trying to get off analogs I would say the 510 is perfect! You can get tanks for your 510 as well, and I have done that and use them with no issues. The draw is just a bit harder on the tanks than vaping off a smart cart or boge carto or ce2 r4 carto. I do not recommend cartridges. Just cartomizers. The cartridges don't hold enough juice as the carto's do. Yup still lovin' my 510! I want to upgrade to a voltage pv where u can make different voltages, but I am still so happy with the 510 that I am just vaping off that and have been happily 7 months now. I also have the drip tip for my 510, and I love it. I am using it now as I type, as I love to switch up flavors alot, so this is handy for me rather than having to fill up a whole new carto. Anyways, hope this helps you decide!! The only thing as I said is I hate the battery life, but oh well, the PCC rocks and so does all my chargers in the house, with usb capabilites as well as my car charger and my charger to use the passthrough in the car!

I'm especially concerned about the comments CCarolina made as she seems to have this package arrive and now finding it all quite complicated. Which is my biggest fear is going out and buying a pack of analogs because I'm frustrated understanding what I need to do.

Don’t be concerned about any e-cigarette being over complicated, they are not.

What happens is when you first open the box you can feel a bit overwhelmed. It is something completely different from anything you have done before. As and example, if you know how to use an appliance like say the oven, when you get a new one like say a dishwasher it is easy to figure out, same principles on off buttons, select what you want on the dial or screen. Operating your e-cigarette doesn’t have any similar device to relate your knowledge from like that.

But trust me, might be confusing for 5 mins, but you will catch on.

I also got an ego t last week. But I have nothing bad to say about it. I love it good vapor good throat hit lasts all day when I'm at work . It's awesome. Smoke free for 6 days now. Loving it
